ബയോളജിക്കല്‍ ഇയുടെ കോര്‍ബെവാക്സിൻ കൗമാരക്കാർക്ക് അടിയന്തര ഉപയോഗത്തിന് നൽകാൻ അനുമതി

ബയോളജിക്കൽ ഇയുടെ കോവിഡ് വാക്സിനായ കോർബെവാക്സിൻ 15 വയസും അതിൽ കൂടുതലുമുള്ള കുട്ടികളിൽ അടിയന്തര ഉപയോഗത്തിന് അനുമതി നൽകി. ഫെബ്രുവരി 21 ന് ഡ്രഗ് കൺട്രോളർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയാണ്  നൽകിയത്.

ഇപ്പോൾ  നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന  2ഉം, 3ഉം ഘട്ട ക്ലിനിക്കൽ പഠനങ്ങളുടെ ഇടക്കാല ഫലങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി, 12 മുതൽ 18 വയസ്സ് വരെയുള്ള  കൗമാരക്കാരിൽ അടിയന്തിര സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ നിയന്ത്രിതമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ കോർബെവാക്സിന് ഡ്രഗ് കൺട്രോളർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ അനുമതി നൽകിയതായി ഫെബ്രുവരി 21 ന് കമ്പനി പ്രസ്താവനയിൽ അറിയിച്ചു. 

Corbovaxin, of Biological E Covid vaccine, is approved for immediate use in children 15 years of age and older. Issued on February 21 by the Drug Controller General of India.

The company said in a statement on February 21 that Corbevax has been approved by the Drug Controller General of India for emergency use in adolescents aged 12 to 18 years, based on the interim results of ongoing Phase 2 and 3 clinical studies.
