ദ്രൗപദി മുർമു ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പതിനഞ്ചാമത് രാഷ്ട്രപതി

 ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പതിനഞ്ചാം രാഷ്ട്രപതിയായി ദ്രൗപദി മുർമു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ആകെ വോട്ടുകളുടെ 64 ശതമാനം നേടിയ മുർമുവിനെ വിജയിയായി രാജ്യസഭാ സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. മുർമുവിന് 6,76,803 ആണ് ആകെ വോട്ടുമൂല്യം ലഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ, യശ്വന്ത് സിൻഹയ്ക്ക് 3,80,177 ആണ് ലഭിച്ച വോട്ടുമൂല്യം. 4754 വോട്ടുകൾ പോള്‍ ചെയ്തതപ്പോൾ 53 വോട്ടുകൾ അസാധുവായി.

രാഷ്ട്രപതി തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ മൂന്നാം റൗണ്ട് വോട്ടെണ്ണൽ പൂർത്തിയായപ്പോൾ തന്നെ മൊത്തം വോട്ടുമൂല്യത്തിന്റെ 50 ശതമാനത്തിലധികം നേടിയ മുർമു വിജയം ഉറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.  കേരളം, കർണാടക ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളായിരുന്നു മൂന്നാം റൗണ്ടിൽ എണ്ണിയത്. ഇതോടെ, ആകെയുള്ള 3,219 വോട്ടിൽ മുർമുവിന് 2161 വോട്ടും (വോട്ടുമൂല്യം – 5,77,777), യശ്വന്ത് സിൻഹയ്ക്ക് 1058 വോട്ടും (വോട്ടുമൂല്യം – 2.61.062) ലഭിച്ചു. വോട്ടെണ്ണൽ പൂർത്തിയായതോടെ വരണാധികാരിയായ രാജ്യസഭ സെക്രട്ടറി ജനറൽ പി.സി. മോദിയാണ് ഫലം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.

ഓരോ റൗണ്ടിലും മൂന്നിൽ രണ്ടു ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തോടെയാണ് മുർമു ലീഡ് ചെയ്തത്. ആന്ധ്ര പ്രദേശിൽനിന്നുള്ള എല്ലാ എംഎൽഎമാരുടെയും വോട്ടുകൾ മുർമുവിനു ലഭിച്ചു. അരുണാചൽ പ്രദേശിൽനിന്ന് നാലു പേരുടേത് ഒഴിച്ച് ബാക്കിയുള്ള വോട്ടുകളും അവർക്കു ലഭിച്ചു.

പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റിലെ 63ആം നമ്പര്‍ മുറിയിലാണ് വോട്ടെണ്ണല്‍. ആദ്യം എംഎൽഎമാരുടെയും പിന്നീട് എംപിമാരുടെയും വോട്ടുകൾ വേർതിരിച്ചശേഷമാണ് എണ്ണിത്തുടങ്ങിയത്. ദ്രൗപദി മുർമുവിനും യശ്വന്ത് സിൻഹയ്ക്കും വോട്ടു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ബാലറ്റുകൾ പിന്നീട് പ്രത്യേകം ട്രേയിലാക്കി മാറ്റിയിരുന്നു. എംഎൽഎമാർക്ക് പിങ്ക് ബാലറ്റും എംപിമാർക്ക് പച്ച ബാലറ്റുമാണ് നൽകിയിരുന്നത്. എംപിമാരും എംഎല്‍എമാരും അടങ്ങിയ ഇലക്ട്രല്‍ കോളജിലെ 4,796 പേരാണ് വോട്ടുരേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. 99% പോളിങ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കേരളം അടക്കം 12 ഇടങ്ങളില്‍ 100% പോളിങ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു. ബിജെപിക്കും സഖ്യകക്ഷികള്‍ക്കും പുറമേ ബിജെഡി, ബിഎസ്പി, വൈഎസ്ആര്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്, ശിരോമണി അകാലിദള്‍, ശിവസേന, ജെഎംഎം എന്നീ പാര്‍ട്ടികളുടെയും പിന്തുണ ദ്രൗപദി മുര്‍മുവിനു കിട്ടി. സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച്ച രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനിൽ നടക്കും.

Draupadi Murmu was elected as the 15th President of India. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat declared Murmu as the winner after securing 64 percent of the total votes. Murmu got a total of 6,76,803 votes while Yashwant Sinha got 3,80,177 votes. Out of 4754 votes polled, 53 votes were invalid.

As soon as the counting of the third round of the presidential election was completed, Murmu secured victory by securing more than 50 percent of the total vote value. States including Kerala and Karnataka were counted in the third round. With this, out of a total of 3,219 votes, Murmu got 2161 votes (vote value – 5,77,777) and Yashwant Sinha got 1058 votes (vote value – 2,61,062). After the counting of votes was completed, the elected Rajya Sabha Secretary General P.C. Modi announced the result.

Murmu led with a two-thirds majority in each round. Murmu got the votes of all the MLAs from Andhra Pradesh. They got the rest of the votes except four from Arunachal Pradesh.

The counting of votes will take place in the 63rd room of the Parliament. First the MLAs' votes and then the MPs' votes were counted. The ballots for Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha were later placed in separate trays. MLAs were given pink ballots and MPs were given green ballots. 4,796 people in the Electoral College consisting of MPs and MLAs cast their votes. There was 99% turnout. 100% polling was recorded in 12 places including Kerala. Apart from the BJP and its allies, Draupadi Murmu also got the support of BJD, BSP, YSR Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena and JMM. The oath-taking ceremony will take place on Monday at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
