താലിബാന്‍ ആക്രണം രൂക്ഷം; അഫ്ഗാനില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യക്കാർ മടങ്ങണം.

അഫ്ഗാനിസ്തനിലെ നാലാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരമായ മസാര്‍ -ഇ -ഷെരീഫില്‍ താലിബാന്‍ ആക്രണം രൂക്ഷമായ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യൻ പൗരന്മാർ ഉടൻ മടങ്ങണമെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തില്‍ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരമാണ് ഇന്ത്യൻ പൗരന്മാരെ ഒഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. 

കാബൂൾ നഗരത്തില്‍ തുടരുന്ന നയതന്ത്ര ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരേയും ഇന്ത്യ അടിയന്തരമായി ഒഴിപ്പിക്കും. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച, ആറാമത്തെ അഫ്ഗാന്‍ പ്രവിശ്യാ തലസ്ഥാനവും താലിബാന്‍ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും തീവ്രവാദ ആക്രമണത്തെ പ്രിതിരോധത്തിന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് നടപടി. 

മസാര്‍-ഇ-ഷെരീഫില്‍ നിന്ന് ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹിയിലേക്ക് പ്രത്യേക വിമാനം പുറപ്പെടുന്നുവെന്നും നഗരത്തിലും പരിസരത്തുമുള്ള  പൗരന്മാര്‍ ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങാന്‍ അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ കോണ്‍സുലേറ്റ് ജനറല്‍ ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു. പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തില്‍ പോകാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പൗരന്മാര്‍ അവരുടെ പേര്, പാസ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നമ്പര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവ അറിയിക്കണമെന്നും കോണ്‍സുലേറ്റ് ജനറല്‍ ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. 

നേരത്തെ, മസാര്‍ -ഇ -ഷെരീഫ് നഗരത്തിന് നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞതായി താലിബാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. നഗരത്തിന്റെ നാല് വശങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ആക്രമണം ആരംഭിച്ചതായി താലിബാന്‍ വക്താവ് സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ വഴി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതിനകം പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഷെബര്‍ഗാനും കിഴക്ക് കുണ്ടുസും തലോഖാനും അവര്‍ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. വടക്കൻ അഫ്ഗാനിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരമാണ് മസാര്‍-ഇ-ഷെരീഫ്.

India demanded the immediate return of Indian citizens in the wake of the Taliban invasion of Masar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan's fourth largest city. Indian nationals are evacuated on Tuesday evening by a special flight. India will also urgently evacuate diplomatic personnel who remain in Kabul city. On Monday, the Taliban also captured the sixth Afghan provincial capital and the government was struggling to counter terrorist attacks.

The Indian Consulate General said via Twitter that a special flight is taking off from Masar-e-Sharif to New Delhi and citizens in and around the city are requested to return to India by a special flight this evening. The Consulate General also tweeted that Indian citizens who wish to take a special flight should inform them of their names, passport numbers etc.

Earlier, the Taliban had said that It had turned on the city of Masar-e-Sharif. A Taliban spokesman had announced via social media that the attack had begun from all four sides of the city. They have already captured Shebargan in the west, Kunduz and Talokhan in the east. Masar-e-Sharif is the largest city in northern Afghanistan.
