കണ്ണൂർ സർവകലാശാലയുടെ സിലബസിൽ ഹിന്ദുത്വവത്കരണം എന്ന ആരോപണം നിഷേധിച്ച് വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ. സിലബസ് പൂർണമല്ലെന്നും രണ്ടംഗ സമിതി ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കുമെന്നും വിസി ഗോപിനാഥ് രവീന്ദ്രൻ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

സവർക്കറും ഗോൾവാൾക്കറും സിലബസിൽ വന്നതിൽ അപാകതയില്ല. സർവകലാശാല സിലബസിൽ കാവിവത്കരണം എന്ന ആരോപണം തള്ളിയ വിസി, ഹിന്ദുത്വ പ്രചാരകരെക്കുറിച്ചും പഠിക്കണമെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. സിലബസ് മരവിപ്പിക്കില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. അതേസമയം സിലബസ് പൂർണമല്ലെന്നും ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് രണ്ടംഗ സമിതി പഠിക്കുമെന്നും അഞ്ച് ദിവസത്തിനുള്ള റിപ്പോർട്ട് സമർപ്പിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

വിവാദമായതിന് പിന്നാലെ സർവകലാശാല സിലബസിൽ ആർ എസ് എസ് നേതാവ് ഗോൾവാൾക്കറെയും സവർക്കറെയും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയ നടപടി താത്കാലികമായി മരവിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. വിവാദ സിലബസിനെതിരേ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ ഉപരോധസമരം നടത്തിയ കെ.എസ്.യു പ്രവർത്തകരെയാണ് വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ ഗോപിനാഥ് രവീന്ദ്രൻ വാക്കാൽ ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ സിലബസ് മരവിക്കില്ലെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് വിസി രംഗത്തെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.

But now the VC was on the scene stating that the syllabus was not frozen.
