കേരളത്തിലും ഒമിക്രോൺ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. രോഗം യുകെയിൽ നിന്നുവന്ന എറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിക്ക്

കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യ ഒമിക്രോൺ പോസിറ്റീവ് കേസ് കൊച്ചിയിൽ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. യുകെയിൽ നിന്നെത്തിയഎറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിക്കാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി ബയോടെക്നോളജിയിലും ഡൽഹിയിലും നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് ഒമിക്രോൺ വൈറസ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർ‌ജ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇദ്ദേഹം യുകെയിൽനിന്ന് അബുദാബിയിൽ എത്തിയ ശേഷം ഡിസംബർ ആറാം തീയതിയാണ് കൊച്ചിയിൽ എത്തിയത്. ആദ്യം നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ നെഗറ്റീവായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും എട്ടാം തീയതി നടത്തിയ ടെസ്റ്റിൽ കോവിഡ് പോസിറ്റീവായി.

വിമാനത്തിൽ തൊട്ടടുത്ത സീറ്റുകളിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവർ ഹൈറിസ്ക് വിഭാഗത്തിലാണെന്ന് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇവരെ പ്രത്യേകം നിരീക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പോസിറ്റീവായ വ്യക്തിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യസ്ഥിതി തൃപ്തികരമാണ്. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാര്യയും ഭാര്യാമാതാവും കോവിഡ് പോസിറ്റീവാണ്. ഇതോടെ രാജ്യത്തെ ഒമിക്രോൺ കേസുകൾ 36 ആയി. ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശിലും ചണ്ഡിഗഡിലും ഞായറാഴ്ച ഓരോ കേസുകൾ വീതം റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കേസുകലുള്ള മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിൽ ഇതുവരെ 17 പേർക്ക് ഒമിക്രോൺ വകഭേദം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
