അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാൻ്റെ സ്വത്ത്‌ അഫ്ഗാന്‍ ജനതക്ക്. ഫണ്ട് 9/11 ഇരകൾക്ക് നല്‍കാനുള്ള യു എസ് ഉത്തരവിനെതിരെ കര്‍സായി

അമേരിക്ക മരവിപ്പിച്ച് നിർത്തിയിരുന്ന അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാൻ്റെ സ്വത്തുക്കൾ 2001 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 11 ആക്രമണത്തിനിരയായവര്‍ക്ക് വീതിച്ച് നല്‍കാനുള്ള അമേരിക്കന്‍ തീരുമാനത്തിനെതിരെ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്‍ മുന്‍ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ഹമീദ് കര്‍സായി. അമേരിക്കയുടെ ഈ തീരുമാനം അനീതിയാണെന്നായിരുന്നു കര്‍സായി പ്രതികരിച്ചത്. അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ളതും നിലവിൽ മരവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുമായ അഫ്ഗാൻ്റെ സ്വത്തുക്കളില്‍ 3.5 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍ റിലീസ് ചെയ്യാനും, അവ 2001 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 11 നടന്ന അല്‍ഖ്വയിദ ആക്രമണത്തിന് ഇരയായവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വീതിച്ച് നല്‍കാനും കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം  അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ജോ ബൈഡന്‍ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തിരുന്നു. ഈ തീരുമാനത്തെയാണ് അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാൻ്റെ മുൻ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ഹമീദ് കർസായി ശക്തമായ ഭാഷയിൽ എതിർത്തത്. 

അഫ്ഗാന്‍ കടുത്ത സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലൂടെയും ഭക്ഷ്യഷാമത്തിലൂടെയും കടന്നുപോകുന്ന സമയത്തെ ബൈഡൻ്റെ ഈ തീരുമാനം രാജ്യത്തെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരായ അനീതിയും അതിക്രമവുമാണെന്നാണ് ഹമീദ് കര്‍സായി പറഞ്ഞത്. ഞായറാഴ്ച പത്രസമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ വെച്ചാണ് കര്‍സായി ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. അമേരിക്കയിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രമല്ല, അഫ്ഗാനിലെ ജനങ്ങളും അല്‍ഖ്വയിദയുടെയും അതിൻ്റെ മുന്‍ തലവന്‍ ഒസാമ ബിന്‍ ലാദൻ്റെയും പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളുടെ ഇരകളാക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാണ് എന്നും കര്‍സായി പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ പണം എൻ്റെയോ പിന്നീട് വന്ന സർക്കാരുകളുടെയോ അല്ല, മറിച്ച് അഫ്ഗാൻ ജനതെയുടെ പണമാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിലവിലെ തീരുമാനം പുനഃപരിശോധിക്കണമെന്ന് അമേരിക്കൻ പ്രസിഡൻ്റിനോട് അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പത്രസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ കർസായി പറഞ്ഞു.

Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has spoken out against the US decision to distribute Afghan assets frozen by the United States to victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Karzai responded that the US decision was unfair. The day before, US President Joe Biden had decided to release $ 3.5 billion worth of Afghan assets currently in the United States and distribute them to the families of victims of the September 11, 2001, al - Qaeda attacks. The decision was strongly opposed by former Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

Hamid Karzai said Biden's decision was an injustice and atrocity against the people of Afghanistan at a time when it was going through a severe economic crisis and famine. Karzai made the remarks at a press conference on Sunday. Karzai said not only the people of the United States, but also the people of Afghanistan were victims of the actions of Al Qaeda and its former leader Osama bin Laden. This money is not the money of me or the subsequent governments, but of the Afghan people. "I urge the US President to reconsider his decision," Karzai said in a statement.
