ഔദ്യോഗിക നിർദേശമില്ലാതെ പുറത്തിറങ്ങരുതെന്ന് എംബസി. അതിർത്തി കടക്കാനാകാതെ ഇന്ത്യക്കാർ

യുക്രൈനിലെ ഇന്ത്യക്കാർക്കു പുതിയ നിർദേശവുമായി കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ. ഉക്രയിനിലെ  എംബസിയുടെ നിർദേശം ലഭിക്കാതെ നിലവിലുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങരുതെന്നും സുരക്ഷിതമല്ലാത്ത യാത്രകൾ ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്നും സർക്കാർ അറിയിച്ചു. അധികൃതരുടെ നിർദേശം ലഭിക്കാതെ അതിർത്തികളിലേക്കു വരരുത്. എല്ലാവരും ജാഗ്രത പുലർത്തണമെന്നും യുക്രെയ്നിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ എംബസി പത്രക്കുറിപ്പിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു. 

ഇന്ത്യൻ പൗരന്മാരെ നാട്ടിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകാനായി യുക്രൈനിൻ്റെ അതിർത്തി രാജ്യങ്ങളിലുള്ള എംബസികളുമായി ചേർന്നു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയാണ്. യുക്രൈനിൻ്റെ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ ഭക്ഷണവും വെള്ളവും താമസസൗകര്യവും ലഭിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ അവിടെ തുടരുന്നതാണു നല്ലത്. യുക്രൈനിൻ്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തുള്ളവർ സുരക്ഷിതമായ ഇടത്തുതന്നെ തുടരണമെന്നും അനാവശ്യ യാത്രകൾ ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്നും എംബസി നിർദേശിച്ചു.

എന്നാൽ, പോളണ്ട് അതിർത്തിയിലേക്കു പോയ ഇന്ത്യക്കാർ അവിടെ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുകയാണ്. യുക്രൈൻ - പോളണ്ട് അതിർത്തിയിൽ എത്തിയ  ഇന്ത്യക്കാർക്ക് അതിർത്തി കടക്കാനായില്ല. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ഇവിടെയെത്തിയ മുന്നൂറോളം വിദ്യാർഥികൾ കുടുങ്ങിയ നിലയിലാണ്. സംഘത്തിൽ നൂറോളം മലയാളി വിദ്യാർഥികളുമുണ്ട്. കൊടും തണുപ്പിൽ അതിർത്തികടക്കാനായി   കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ് ഇവർ.

Central government issues new directive to Indians in Ukraine. The government has warned people not to leave their existing locations without consulting the embassy in Ukraine and to avoid unsafe travel. Don't come to the border without the instructions of the authorities. The Indian Embassy in Ukraine said in a press release that everyone should be vigilant. Ukraine is working with embassies across the border to repatriate Indian nationals. If food, water and shelter are available in the western part of Ukraine, it is better to stay there. The embassy advised those in eastern Ukraine to stay in a safe place and avoid unnecessary travel.

But the Indians who went to the Polish border are still trapped there. The Indians who reached the Ukraine-Poland border could not cross the border. About 300 students who arrived here on Friday were trapped. There are about 100 Malayalee students in the group. They are waiting to cross the border in the bitter cold.
