ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ഗംഗ - യുക്രൈനില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുമായി വിമാനങ്ങൾ എത്തിത്തുടങ്ങി
കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാരിൻ്റെ യുക്രൈന്‍ രക്ഷാദൗത്യമായ ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ഗംഗയുടെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള രണ്ടാമത്തെ വിമാനം ഞായറാഴ്ച പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 2.45 ഓടെ ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെത്തി. റൊമാനിയയിലെ ബുക്കാറസ്റ്റിൽനിന്നാണ് 29 മലയാളികൾ ഉൾപ്പടെ 250 യാത്രികരുമായി ടാറ്റായുടെ എയർ ഇന്ത്യ വിമാനം എത്തിയത്. യുക്രൈനില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള രക്ഷാദൗത്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായ ആദ്യ വിമാനം ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 9.30ന് മുംബൈയിലെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഇതില്‍ 27 മലയാളികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പടെ 219 പേരാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. യുക്രൈന്‍ രക്ഷാ ദൗത്യത്തിന് ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ ഗംഗ എന്നാണ് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.

കേന്ദ്ര വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രി ജ്യോതിരാദിത്യ സിന്ധ്യയും വിദേശകാര്യ സഹമന്ത്രി വി മുരളീധരനും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് ഡൽഹിയിൽ എത്തിയവരെ സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. തിരിച്ചെത്തുന്ന മലയാളികള്‍ക്ക്‌ ഡല്‍ഹിയിലും മുംബൈയിലും നോര്‍ക്ക വിശ്രമിക്കാനുള്ള സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇവരെ സൗജന്യമായി കേരളത്തിലെത്തിക്കുമെന്ന് കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരും വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ദൗത്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള എയര്‍ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മൂന്നാം വിമാനം ഇന്ന് തന്നെ ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെത്തും. ഹംഗേറിയന്‍ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ബുഡാപെസ്റ്റില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുമായുള്ള അടുത്ത വിമാനം എത്തുക. റഷ്യയുമായുള്ള യുദ്ധത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് യുക്രൈന്‍ വ്യോമാതിര്‍ത്തി അടച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ അയല്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങളായ റൊമാനിയയിലെ ബുക്കാറസ്റ്റിലും ഹംഗേറിയിലെ ബുഡാപെസ്റ്റില്‍ എത്തിച്ചാണ് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നത്.
The second plane, part of Operation Ganga, the central government's Ukraine rescue mission, arrived in Delhi at 2.45 am on Sunday. Tata's Air India flight with 250 passengers, including 29 Malayalees, arrived from Bucharest, Romania. The first flight as part of a rescue mission from Ukraine arrived in Mumbai at 9.30 pm on Saturday. Of these, 219 were including 27 Malayalees. The Central Government has named the Ukraine rescue mission as Operation Ganga.
Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia and Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan received the delegation. For returning Malayalees, NORKA offers accommodation in Delhi and Mumbai. The Kerala government has also stated that they will be brought to Kerala free of cost. The third Air India flight as part of the mission will arrive in Delhi today. The next flight with the Indians will arrive from the Hungarian capital, Budapest. As Ukraine's air border has been closed following the war with Russia, Indians are being repatriated to neighboring Bucharest in Romania and Budapest in Hungary.
