തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഓഫര്‍ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു, പെട്രോൾ ടാങ്ക് ഉടന്‍ ഫുള്ളാക്കുക - രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി
'എത്രയും വേഗം പെട്രോള്‍ ടാങ്ക് നിറയ്ക്കുക, മോദി സര്‍ക്കാരിൻ്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഓഫര്‍ അവസാനിക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്നു' എന്നായിരുന്നു രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ട്വീറ്റ്.
നാല് മാസങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് രാജ്യത്ത് എണ്ണ വില റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് ഉയരത്തിലെത്തുകയും, തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് മുന്നിൽ കണ്ട് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വാറ്റ് വെട്ടികുറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അതിന് ശേഷം നാല് മാസത്തോളമായി രാജ്യത്തെ ഇന്ധന വില മാറ്റമില്ലാതെ തുടരുകയാണ്.
റഷ്യയുടെ യുക്രൈന്‍ അധിനിവേശത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ആഗോള തലത്തില്‍ ക്രൂഡ് ഓയില്‍ വില കുത്തനെ ഉയര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഇന്ധന വിലക്കയറ്റം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വിപണിയില്‍ നിലവില്‍ ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നതിനാലാണ് ഇന്ധന വില ഉയരാത്തതെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നത്. അഞ്ച് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് മാര്‍ച്ച് ഏഴോടെ അവസാനിക്കും. മാര്‍ച്ച് പത്തിന് ഫലം വരും. മാര്‍ച്ച് ഏഴിന് ശേഷം രാജ്യത്ത് ഇന്ധന വില വര്‍ധനവുണ്ടാകുമെന്നാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്ന സൂചനകൾ.
