റഷ്യന്‍ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ യൂറോപ്പിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആണവ നിലയത്തില്‍ തീപിടുത്തം. വെടിവെപ്പ് തുടരുന്നു

യുക്രൈനിലെ സപോര്‍ഷിയ ആണവ നിലയത്തിന് നേര്‍ക്ക്‌ റഷ്യന്‍ ഷെല്ലാക്രമണം. ഇതേ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആണവ നിലയത്തില്‍ തീപ്പിടിത്തമുണ്ടായതായും യുക്രൈൻ സർക്കാർ വൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു. റഷ്യന്‍ സൈന്യത്തിൻ്റെ വെടിവെപ്പ് തുടരുന്നതിനാല്‍ അഗ്നിശമന സേനയ്ക്ക് തീ അണയ്ക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നാണ് യുക്രൈന്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. യുക്രൈനിലെ ഈ ആണവനിലയം യൂറോപ്പിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആണവ നിലയമാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന ഭീഷണി യൂറോപ്പിനെ ആകമാനം ബാധിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നായിരിക്കും. 

റഷ്യന്‍ സേന എല്ലാ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്നും വെടിയുതിര്‍ക്കുകയാണെന്ന് യുക്രൈന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രി ദിമിത്രോ കുലേബ പറഞ്ഞു. 'റഷ്യൻ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ഈ ആണവനിലയം പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചാല്‍, ചെര്‍ണോബിലിനേക്കാള്‍ പത്ത് മടങ്ങ് വലുതായിരിക്കും അതിന്റെ പ്രത്യാഘാതം. അത് യൂറോപ്പിനെ ആകമാനം ബാധിക്കും' യുക്രൈന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. 36 വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പുണ്ടായ ചെര്‍ണോബില്‍ ആണവ ദുരന്തത്തെ ഓര്‍മിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ട്വീറ്റ്. റഷ്യ അടിയന്തരമായി വെടിവെപ്പ് നിര്‍ത്തിവെക്കണമെന്നും, അഗ്നിശമനസേനയെ ആണവ നിലയത്തിലെ തീ അണയ്ക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു.

ആണവ നിലയത്തിന് നേരെയുണ്ടായ ആക്രമണത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോ ബൈഡനും ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ബോറിസ് ജോൺസണും യുക്രൈന്‍ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് സെലന്‍സ്‌കിയുമായി സംസാരിച്ചു. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ആണവ ഏജന്‍സിയും യുഎസ് സുരക്ഷാവൃത്തങ്ങളും സപോര്‍ഷിയ ആണവ പ്ലാൻ്റ്  അധികൃതരുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ പ്ലാൻ്റിലെ റേഡിയേഷന്‍ നിലയില്‍ മാറ്റം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലെന്നും പ്ലാൻ്റ്  സുരക്ഷിതമാണെന്നും യുക്രൈന്‍ സർക്കാർ വൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു.

He called on Russia to immediately stop firing and allow firefighters to put out the blaze.

US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson have spoken with Ukrainian President Selensky in the wake of the attack on the plant. The International Atomic Energy Agency and US security forces have been in contact with the Zaporizhia nuclear plant authorities. According to Ukrainian government sources, the radiation level at the plant has not changed and the plant is safe.
