അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനുള്ള ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭക്ഷ്യ സഹായം അട്ടാരിയിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടു

അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനുള്ള ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സഹായവുമായി വാഹനവ്യഹം അട്ടാരിയിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടു. 2000 മെട്രിക് ടൺ ഗോതമ്പുമായുള്ള വാഹന വ്യൂഹം പഞ്ചാബിലെ ഇന്ത്യ പാക് അതിർത്തിയായ അട്ടാരിയിൽനിന്നും അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനുള്ള 50000 മെട്രിക് ടൺ ഗോതമ്പിൻ്റെ സഹായ വാഗ്ദാനത്തിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വാഹന വ്യൂഹമാണിത്. അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലെ ജലാലാബാദിലേക്കാണ് വാഹനവ്യൂഹം ഗോതമ്പുമായി പോകുന്നത്. ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭയുടെ ലോക ഭക്ഷ്യ പദ്ധതിയുടെ (World Food Program -WFP of UN) ഭാഗമായാണ് അഫ്ഘാന് ഇന്ത്യ 50000 മെട്രിക് ടണ്ണിൻ്റെ ഭക്ഷ്യ സഹായ വാഗ്ദാനം നൽകിയത്. താലിബാൻ ഭരണം പിടിച്ചെടുത്തതോടെ അഫ്‌ഗാനിസ്ഥാൻ വലിയ ഭക്ഷ്യ ക്ഷാമമാണ് നേരിടുന്നത്.

The vehicle left Attari with the help of India to Afghanistan. A convoy of 2,000 metric tonnes of wheat left Attari on the Indo-Pak border in Punjab for Afghanistan. It is the second vehicle to offer 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan. The convoy was carrying wheat to Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Afghanistan India has pledged 50,000 metric tonnes of food aid as part of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). Afghanistan has been facing a severe food shortage since the Taliban seized power.
