പാരസെറ്റമോള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 800-ല്‍ അധികം അവശ്യമരുന്നുകളുടെ വില ഏപ്രില്‍ മുതല്‍ വര്‍ധിക്കും

ഏപ്രില്‍ മുതല്‍ രാജ്യത്ത് അവശ്യമരുന്നുകളുടെ വിലകൂടും. പാരസെറ്റാമോള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ എണ്ണൂറില്‍ അധികം മരുന്നുകളുടെ വിലയാണ് 10.7 ശതമാനം വര്‍ധിക്കുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് ദേശിയ ഡ്രഗ് പ്രൈസിങ് അതോറിറ്റി മരുന്നുകളുടെ വില വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ അനുമതി നല്‍കിയത്. മൊത്ത വില സൂചികയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ 10.7 ശതമാനം വരെ വിലവര്‍ധന നടപ്പാക്കാന്‍ ശുപാര്‍ശ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. വാണിജ്യ മന്ത്രാലയവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കൂടിയാലോചനകൾക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ തീരുമാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.

പനി, ഇന്‍ഫെക്ഷന്‍, ഹൃദ്രോഗം, രക്തസമ്മര്‍ദം തുടങ്ങീ പലവിധ അസുഖങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള മരുന്നുകളുടെ വില ഇതോടെ വര്‍ധിക്കും. ഇതോടെ പാരസെറ്റമോള്‍, അസിത്രോമൈസിന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ മരുന്നുകളുടെ വില വലിയതോതില്‍ കൂടാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയാണുള്ളത്. എണ്ണൂറോളം മരുന്നുകളാണ് അവശ്യമരുന്നുകളുടെ പട്ടികയിലുള്ളത്. കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചതോടെ എണ്ണൂറു മരുന്നുകളുടെയും വില കൂടാന്‍ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്തൊന്നും ഇത്രയും വലിയ വിലവര്‍ധനവ് ആവശ്യമരുന്നുകൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലെന്നാണ് ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഈ വില വർധനവ് സ്ഥിരം മരുന്ന് കഴിക്കുന്ന രോഗികളെയാണ് കാര്യമായി ബാധിക്കുക. ഇന്ധന, പാചകവാതക വില വർദ്ധനവിന് പിന്നാലെ അവശ്യമരുന്നുകളുടെ വിലയും വർധിക്കുന്നതോടെ സ്‌ഥതരണക്കാരുടെ കുടുംബ ബഡ്ജറ്റ് താളം തെറ്റും. 

The prices of essential medicines will go up in the country from April. More than 800 drugs, including paracetamol, saw their prices rise by 10.7 per cent. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) yesterday approved an increase in drug prices. In line with the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), the current rate hike of 10.7 per cent is recommended. The decision was taken after consultations with the Ministry of Commerce.

This will increase the cost of medicines for various ailments like fever, infection, heart disease and high blood pressure. With this, the prices of drugs like paracetamol and azithromycin are likely to go up significantly. About 800 medicines are on the list of essential medicines. With the approval of the central government, the prices of 800 medicines are likely to go up. The Center has pointed out that there has not been such a huge increase in the price of essential drugs in recent times. This price increase will significantly affect patients taking regular medications. As fuel and cooking gas prices rise, so do the prices of essential medicines, leaving the family budget in disarray.
