ഇമ്രാൻ ഖാന് എതിരായ അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം പരിഗണിക്കാതെ അസംബ്ലി പിരിഞ്ഞു

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇമ്രാൻ ഖാന് താത്കാലിക ആശ്വാസം. പ്രധാനമത്രിക്കെതിരായ അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം പരിഗണിക്കാതെ പാക്കിസ്ഥാൻ ദേശീയ അസംബ്ലി പിരിഞ്ഞു. അന്തരിച്ച അംഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ആദരാഞ്ജലി അർപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം അസംബ്ലി പിരിയുന്നതായി സ്പീക്കർ അസദ് ഖൈസർ സഭയെ അറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. മാർച്ച് 28ന് അസംബ്ലി  വീണ്ടും ചേരും. അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം പരിഗണിക്കാത്തതിനു സ്‌പീക്കർക്കെതിരെ പ്രതിപക്ഷം വിമർശനം ഉന്നയിച്ചു. ഇമ്രാനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനാണു സ്പീക്കർ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷം ആരോപിച്ചു.

അവിശ്വാസപ്രമേയം ദേശീയ അസംബ്ലിയിൽ വോട്ടിനിടുമ്പോൾ  പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇമ്രാൻ ഖാനെതിരെ വോട്ടുചെയ്യുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ പാർട്ടിയിലെ  24 വിമതർ പരസ്യപ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. പ്രതിപക്ഷകക്ഷിയായ പി എം എൽ– നവാസ് വിഭാഗം, പി പി പി എന്നിവയിലെ നൂറോളം എം പിമാരാണ് അവിശ്വാസത്തെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നത്.

ഇമ്രാനെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന എം ക്യു എം–പി, പി എം എൽ–ക്യു എന്നീ പാർട്ടികൾ ഇമ്രാനില്ലാത്ത സർക്കാർ എന്ന ഒത്തുതീർപ്പ് നിർദേശം മുന്നോട്ടുവച്ചിരുന്നു. അഴിമതി, സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധി, വിദേശ നയത്തിലെ പാളിച്ചകൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷ പാർട്ടികൾ അവിശ്വാസം കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. സൈന്യത്തിൻ്റെ പിന്തുണ നഷ്ടമായതും ഇമ്രാനു തിരിച്ചടിയാകുമെന്നാണു നിരീക്ഷണം. എന്തുതന്നെ ആയാലും മാർച്ച് 28 പാകിസ്ഥാൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇമ്രാൻ ഖാൻ്റെ ഭാവി എന്തെന്ന് അറിയാം.

Temporary relief for Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan National Assembly adjourned without consider no-confidence motion against PM. Speaker Asad Khaiser informed the House that the assembly was adjourned after paying tributes to the deceased members. The Assembly will reconvene on March 28. Opposition groups called for the beleaguered PM to resign. The opposition also accused the speaker of trying to protect Imran.

His party did worse than expected from opinion polls, which saw them at gaining about two thirds of the support in the National Assembly. The no-confidence motion was supported by about 100 MPs from the opposition PML-Nawaz faction and the PPP.

The pro-Imran parties MQMP-PML-Q had proposed a compromise government without Imran. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, citing corruption, economic crisis and foreign policy shortcomings.
