ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് രാജ്ഞി എലിസബത്ത് || അന്തരിച്ചു (1926 - 2022)

ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് രാജ്ഞി എലിസബത്ത് || അന്തരിച്ചു. രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതിയായ ബക്കിങ്ങാം കൊട്ടാരം പ്രത്യേക കുറിപ്പിലൂടെയാണ് മരണവിവരം പുറത്ത് വിട്ടത്.  96 വയസ്സുള്ള എലിസബത്ത് രാജ്‍ഞിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കാലം(70 വർഷം) ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് രാജസിംഹാസനത്തിലിരുന്നതിന്റെ റെക്കോർഡുണ്ട് . ആരോഗ്യനില മോശമായതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് കുറച്ചുദിവസങ്ങളായി ഡോക്ടർമാരുടെ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലായിരുന്നു. സ്കോട്‌ലൻഡിലെ ബാൽമോറൽ കൊട്ടാരത്തിലായിരുന്നു ജൂലൈ മുതൽ രാജ്ഞി കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില മോശമായതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് രാജകുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെല്ലാം ബാൽമോറൽ കൊട്ടാരത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരുന്നു.

1952 ഫെബ്രുവരി ആറിനാണ് എലിസബത്ത് രാജ്ഞിയാവുന്നത്. ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് രാജപദവിയിലെത്തുന്ന നാൽപതാമത്തെ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നു എലിസബത്ത്. അമേരിക്കൻ വനിതയെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്യാൻ, സഹോദരൻ എഡ്വേഡ് എട്ടാമൻ സ്ഥാനത്യാഗം ചെയ്തതിനെത്തുടർന്നാണ് ജോർജ് ആറാമൻ രാജാവായത്. ജോർജ് ആറാമൻ്റെ മരണത്തെത്തുടർന്ന്  അധികാരം എലിസബത്തിനു വന്നു ചേർന്നു. എലിസബത്ത് രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ഭരണകാലത്ത് 1952 ൽ വിൻസ്റ്റൺ ചർച്ചിൽ മുതൽ 2022 ൽ ലിസ് ട്രസ് വരെ 15 പേർ ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിമാരായി. ലോകത്ത് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കറൻസികളിൽ ചിത്രമുള്ള ഭരണാധികാരിയെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്കിലും രാജ്ഞി ഇടംപിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

രാജ്ഞിയുടെ അന്ത്യത്തോടെ അവരുടെ മൂത്ത മകൻ ചാൾസ് രാജകുമാരനാവും ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ പുതിയ രാജാവ്. തന്റെ കാലശേഷം മകൻ ചാൾസ് രാജകുമാരൻ ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ രാജാവാകുമ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ രണ്ടാം ഭാര്യയായ കാമിലയെ രാജ്ഞിയെന്നു വിളിക്കാമെന്നു എലിസബത്ത് രാജ്ഞി നേരത്തെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ഏഴുപതാം ഭരണവാർഷിക  സന്ദേശത്തിലാണ് ചാൾസിൻ്റെ രണ്ടാം ഭാര്യയായ കാമിലയ്ക്ക് ‘ക്വീൻ കൊൻസൊറ്റ്’ (രാജപത്നി) പദവി മുൻകൂട്ടി സമ്മാനിച്ചത്. രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ഭർത്താവ് ഫിലിപ് രാജകുമാരൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം ഏപ്രിലിൽ 99–ാം വയസ്സിലാണ് അന്തരിച്ചത്. ചാൾസ് രാജകുമാരൻ , ആൻ രാജകുമാരി , ആൻഡ്രൂ രാജകുമാരൻ , എഡ്വേഡ് രാജകുമാരൻ എന്നിവർ മക്കളാണ്.

Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official residence, released the death information through a special note. 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth holds the record for the longest tenure (70 years) on the British throne. He was under the observation of doctors for a few days after his health condition worsened. The Queen has been staying at Balmoral Palace in Scotland since July. Following the Queen's ill health, all members of the royal family had arrived at Balmoral Palace.

Elizabeth became Queen on February 6, 1952. Elizabeth was the 40th person to ascend the British throne. George VI became king after his brother Edward VIII abdicated to marry an American woman. After the death of George VI, power passed to Elizabeth. 15 British Prime Ministers have been Prime Ministers during Queen Elizabeth's reign, from Winston Churchill in 1952 to Liz Truss in 2022. The Queen is also listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the ruler whose image is on the most currencies in the world.

With the Queen's death, her eldest son Prince Charles will become the new King of Britain. Queen Elizabeth has previously said that when her son Prince Charles becomes King of Britain, his second wife Camilla will be called Queen. Camilla, Charles' second wife, was given the title of 'Queen Consort' (Queen Consort) in advance in the Queen's 70th Anniversary Message. The Queen's husband, Prince Philip, died in April last year aged 99. The children are Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
