കോവിഡ് - മൊഡേണ വാക്‌സിനും ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക്. സിപ്ലക്ക് ഇന്ന് അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചേക്കും
മൊഡേണ വാക്‌സിനും ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് വരുന്നു. മോഡേണ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യാൻ സിപ്ലക്ക് ഇന്ന് അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചേക്കും. രാജ്യത്ത് 18 വയസിന് മുകളിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മൊഡേണ കോവിഡ് വാക്‌സിന്‍ അടിയന്തര ആവശ്യത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന് ഡ്രഗ് കണ്‍ട്രോളര്‍ ജനറല്‍ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ (ഡിസിജിഐ) യുടെ അനുമതി തേടി. മരുന്ന് നിര്‍മാണ കമ്പനിയായ സിപ്ലയാണ് മൊഡേണ വാക്‌സിന്‍ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ അനുമതി തേടിയത്. ഇന്നുതന്നെ ഡിസിജിഐ ഇതിന് അനുമതി നല്‍കിയേക്കുമെന്നാണ് സൂചന.
മൊഡേണ വാക്‌സിന്‍ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യാനുള്ള അനുമതി തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയാണ് കമ്പനി തേടിയതെന്ന് സിപ്ല അധികൃതര്‍ അറയിച്ചു. ഫൈസര്‍ വാക്‌സിനൊപ്പം മൊഡേണയുടെ വാക്‌സിനും ആഗോളതലത്തില്‍ വലിയ സ്വീകാര്യത ലഭിച്ച കോവിഡ് വാക്‌സിനാണ്. 90 ശതമാനത്തോളം രോഗപ്രതിരോധ ശേഷി മൊഡേണ നല്‍കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍. യുഎസില്‍ 12 കോടിയോളം പേര്‍ക്കും ഫൈസര്‍, മൊഡേണ വാക്‌സിനുകളാണ് വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്. കാര്യമായ സുരക്ഷാ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇവിടങ്ങളിൽ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

Cipla officials said the company had sought permission to import the Modena vaccine on Monday. Along with Pfizer vaccine, Modena's vaccine is a globally accepted covid vaccine. According to reports, Modena provides about 90 per cent immunity. Nearly 12 crore people in the US have been supplied with pfizer and modena vaccines. No serious security issues have been reported here.
