കെ എസ് ആർ ടി സി പൊളിച്ചു പണിയുന്നു - ഡയറക്ടർ ബോർഡിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെ പൂർണ്ണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കും.

കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ഡയറക്ടർ ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെ പൂർണ്ണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കും. മികവ് തെളിയിച്ച പ്രൊഫഷണലുകൾ മാത്രം ബോർഡിൽ മതിയെന്ന് സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ബോർഡിനെ ലാഭകരമാക്കുന്നതിനാണ് നടപടിയെന്ന് ഗതാഗത മന്ത്രി ആന്റണി രാജു ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ന്യൂസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.  

കെഎസ്ആർടിസിയുടെ തലപ്പത്ത് തന്നെ വലിയ മാറ്റം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന തീരുമാനമാണിത്. ആർ ബാലകൃഷ്ണപിള്ള ഗതാഗതമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നപ്പോഴാണ് രാഷ്ട്രീയനേതാക്കളെക്കൂടി ഡയറക്ടർ ബോ‍ർഡിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. പിന്നീട് എണ്ണം കൂട്ടി. ഇപ്പോൾ പതിനഞ്ച് അംഗ ഡയറക്ടർ ബോർഡില്‍ എട്ടുപേർ രാഷ്ട്രീയപാർട്ടികളുടെ നോമിനികളാണ്. ഇവരെ ഒഴിവാക്കി പ്രൊഫഷണലുകൾ മാത്രം മതിയെന്ന് സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സുശീൽ കുമാർ ഖന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ടിലും ഇക്കാര്യം നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നു.

നഷ്ടം നികത്താൻ മറ്റ് വരുമാനമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കെഎസ്ആർടിസി പെട്രോൾ പമ്പുകൾ തുടങ്ങുകയാണ്. എട്ട് പെട്രോൾ പമ്പുകൾ ആഗസ്റ്റ് 15ന് മുൻപ് തുടങ്ങും. ബസുകളിൽ പ്രകൃതിവാതക ഇന്ധനമാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികളും പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ തുടങ്ങിയ സിറ്റി സർക്കുലർ സർവ്വീസുകൾ വ്യാപിക്കാനും തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Then the number was increased. Now eight of the fifteen-member board of directors are nominees of political parties. The government had decided to exclude them and only professionals. KSRTC is launching petrol pumps as part of finding other sources of income to cover the losses. Eight petrol pumps will start before August 15. Steps are also in progress to fuel natural gas in buses. It has also been decided to spread city circular services which have just started.
