കാബൂളും വീണു, അഫ്ഘാനിസ്ഥാൻ താലിബാൻ്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ. താലിബാന്‍ അഫ്ഗാന്‍ തലസ്ഥാനമായ കാബൂളില്‍ പ്രവേശിച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ അധികാരകൈമാറ്റം ഉടനുണ്ടായേക്കുമെന്ന് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ റിപ്പോർട് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനിടെ അഫ്ഗാന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് അഷ്‌റഫ് ഗനി രാജിവെച്ച് രാജ്യം വിട്ടതായി എ എൻ ഐ റിപ്പോർട് ചെയ്യുന്നു. 

അഫ്ഗാനില്‍ അധികാര കൈമാറ്റം സമാധാനപരമായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് അഫ്ഗാന്‍ ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി അബ്ദുള്‍ സത്താര്‍ മിര്‍സാക്ക്‌വല്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ പരിഭ്രാന്തരാവരുത്. കാബൂള്‍ നഗരത്തില്‍ ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കില്ലെന്നും സമാധാനപരമായി ഇടക്കാല സര്‍ക്കാരിന് അധികാരം കൈമാറുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. വീഡിയോ രൂപത്തിലാണ് ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദേശം പുറത്തുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. അഫ്ഗാന്‍ മുന്‍ ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി അലി അഹമ്മദ് ജലാലി ഇടക്കാല സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആവുമെന്നാണ് സൂചനകള്‍.  ബലം പ്രയോഗിച്ച് അധികാരം ഏറ്റെടുക്കില്ലെന്ന് താലിബാനും പ്രതികരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സമാധാനപരമായ അധികാരകൈമാറ്റത്തിന് കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് താലിബാന്‍ വക്താക്കള്‍ റോയിട്ടേഴ്സിനോട് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. 

താലിബാന്‍ അധികാരം പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി അഫ്ഗാന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് കാബൂളില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറത്തുകടന്നുവെന്ന വാര്‍ത്തകളെ തള്ളുന്ന റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകളും പുറത്തുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രസിഡന്റ് കൊട്ടാരത്തില്‍ തന്നെയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹവുമായി അടുത്ത വൃത്തങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് വാര്‍ത്താ ഏജന്‍സികള്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു. ഇതിനിടെ അഫ്ഗാന്‍ വിഷയം ചര്‍ച്ചചെയ്യാന്‍ യുഎന്‍ രക്ഷാസമിതി ഉടന്‍ യോഗം ചേരുമെന്ന് റഷ്യ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. റഷ്യന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി സമീര്‍ കാബുലോവിനെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് റഷ്യന്‍ വാര്‍ത്താ ഏജന്‍സികളാണ് ഇക്കാര്യം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തത്.
