ജിംനി ഇന്ത്യൻ വിപണിയിലേക്ക് വരുന്നു

 

മാരുതി സുസുക്കിയുടെ വിശ്വവിഘ്യാതമായ ജിപ്സിക്ക് ശേഷം, ആ രൂപസാധൃശ്യത്തിൽ സുസുക്കി ഇറക്കിയ കോപാക്ട് 3 ഡോർ എസ് യു വിയാണ് ജിംനി. ജിപ്സിയുടെ ആരാധകരായ ഇന്ത്യൻ വാഹന ലോകം വളരെ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന വാഹനമാണ്  ജിംനി. സുസുക്കിയുടെ മാതൃരാജ്യമായ ജപ്പാനിൽ 2018 ൽ നാലാം തലമുറ വാഹനം പുറത്തിറക്കിയതു മുതൽ ജിംനി ഉടൻ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് എന്നായിരുന്നു വാർത്തകൾ . 2020 ലെ ഡൽഹി ഓട്ടോഎക്സ്പോയിൽ  പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചതോടെ ജിംനി ഉടൻ എത്തുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലായിരുന്നു ഇന്ത്യൻ വാഹന ലോകം. എന്നാൽ അന്ന് ഇതേക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രതികരിക്കാതിരുന്ന  സുസുക്കി, ഇപ്പോൾ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് ജിംനിയെ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നത്തിന് തീരുമാനം എടുത്തു എന്നാണ് പുറത്തുവരുന്ന വിവരങ്ങൾ.  ഇന്ത്യക്കായി വികസിപ്പിച്ച 5 ഡോർ വകഭേദമാവും ഉടൻ വിപണിയിലെത്തുക എന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്. നേരത്തെ യുറോപ്പിൽ പരീക്ഷണയോട്ടം നടത്തിയ 5 ഡോർ ജിംനിയുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പുറത്തുവന്നിരുന്നു. സുസുക്കി ഔദ്യോഗികമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും 4 മീറ്ററിൽ താഴെ നീളമായിരിക്കും പുതിയ വാഹനത്തിന്. 3850 എഎം നീളവും 1645 എംഎം വീതിയും 1730 എംഎം ഉയരവും 2550 എംഎം വീൽബെയ്സുമുണ്ടാകും. എന്നാൽ നിലവിലെ എൻജിനിലും ഗിയർബോക്സലും കാര്യമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല.

സുസുക്കിയുടെ പ്രീമിയം ഡീലർഷിപ്പായ നെക്സ വഴി വിൽപനയ്ക്കെത്തുന്ന ജിംനിയുടെ വില 10 ലക്ഷത്തിൽ താഴെനിർത്താനാവും കമ്പനി ശ്രമിക്കുക. മഹീന്ദ്രയുടെ ബൊലേറോ, TUV300, ഫോഴ്‌സ് ഗുർഖ എന്നിവരായിരിക്കും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ജിംനിയുടെ പ്രധാന എതിരാളികൾ.  ഓഫ് റോഡ് ഡ്രൈവിങ്ങിനു പുറമെ യാത്രാസുഖവും ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് വാഹനത്തിൻ്റെ രൂപകൽപന. ദൃഢതയുള്ള ലാഡർ ഫ്രെയിം ഷാസിയും എയർ ബാഗ്, എ ബി എസ്, ഇ എസ് പി, പവർ സ്റ്റീയറിങ്, റിവേഴ്സ് പാർക്കിങ് സെൻസറുമൊക്കെയുള്ള ടച് സ്ക്രീൻ ഇൻഫോടെയ്ന്മെന്റ് സിസ്റ്റം, ഫോർ വീൽ ഡ്രൈവ് എന്നീ സ്വകാര്യങ്ങൾ ജിംനിയിലുണ്ടാവും.

600 സിസി, 1.5 ലീറ്റർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ രണ്ട് എൻജിൻ വകഭേദങ്ങളിലാണ്  രാജ്യാന്തര വിപണിയിൽ ജിംനി വിൽപനയ്ക്കെത്തുന്നത്. ഇതിൽ 1.5 ലീറ്റർ എൻജിനാവും ഇന്ത്യൻ വിപണിയിലെത്തുക. നിലവിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ എർട്ടിഗയ്ക്കും സിയാസിനും എക്സ് എൽ 6നും കരുത്തു പകരുന്ന എൻജിന് എകദേശം 104 എച്ച്പി കരുത്തും 138 എൻ എം ടോർക്കുമുണ്ട്.

After Maruti Suzuki's world-famous Gypsy, the Jimny is a compact 3 door SUV launched by Suzuki in that look. Earlier, pictures of the 5 Door Jimny, which was tested in Europe, were released. Although Suzuki has not officially announced, the new vehicle will be less than 4 meters long. It will be 3850 mm long, 1645 mm wide, 1730 mm high and have a wheelbase of 2550 mm. But do not expect significant changes in the current engine and gearbox.

The company will also try to keep the price of the Jimny, which goes on sale through Suzuki's premium dealership Nexus, below Rs 10 lakh. Jimny's rivals in India will be Mahindra's Bolero, TUV300 and Force Gurkha. In addition to off-road driving, the vehicle is designed to ensure a comfortable ride. The Jimny comes with a sturdy ladder frame chassis and a touch screen infotainment system with airbags, ABS, ESP, power steering, reverse parking sensor and four wheel drive.

The Jimny is available in two engine variants - 600cc petrol and 1.5 liter petrol. The 1.5 liter engine will also be launched in India. Currently in India, the engine that powers the Ertiga, Ciaz and XL6 is rated at around 104 hp and 138 Nm of torque.
