ലഖിംപുര്‍ ഖേരി - മന്ത്രിപുത്രന്‍ ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര ജയിലില്‍നിന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി
ഉത്തര്‍പ്രദേശിലെ ലഖിംപുര്‍ ഖേരിയില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ കാർഷിക നിയമങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച കര്‍ഷകരെ വാഹനമിടിപ്പിച്ച് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കേസിലെ മുഖ്യപ്രതിയും കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി അജയ് മിശ്രയുടെ മകനുമായ ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര ജയില്‍ മോചിതനായി. കോടതിയില്‍നിന്ന് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര ജയില്‍ മോചിതനായത്. മൂന്ന് ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ രണ്ട് ആള്‍ജാമ്യത്തിലാണ് അലഹബാദ് ഹൈക്കോടതി ആശിഷ് മിശ്രക്ക് കോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചത്. കീഴ്‌ക്കോടതികള്‍ ജാമ്യം നിഷേധിച്ചതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര അലഹബാദ് ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞയാഴ്ചയാണ് ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചത്.പ്രതിഷേധക്കാര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ വെടിയുതിര്‍ത്തു എന്നതുള്‍പ്പെടെ പോലീസ് ആശിഷിന് മേല്‍ ചുമത്തിയ ചില കുറ്റങ്ങളെ ജാമ്യ ഹർജി പരിഗണിക്കവെ കോടതി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ മരിച്ചവരുടെയോ പരിക്കേറ്റവരുടെയോ ശരീരത്തില്‍ വെടിയേറ്റുള്ള മുറിവുകളൊന്നും കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ലെന്നും കോടതി പറഞ്ഞു. കര്‍ഷകരെ ഓടിക്കാന്‍ വാഹനത്തിന്‍റെ ഡ്രൈവറെ ആശിഷ് പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചെന്ന പോലീസിൻ്റെ വാദത്തെയും കോടതി വിമർശിച്ചു.
സമന്‍സ് വന്നപ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര ഹാജരായി എന്നതുൾപ്പടെ പരിഗണിക്കുമ്പോൾ അപേക്ഷകന് ജാമ്യത്തിന് അര്‍ഹതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കോടതിയുടെ വിലയിരുത്തൽ എന്നും കോടതി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ആശിഷ് മിശ്രയ്ക്ക് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചതില്‍ കര്‍ഷകരില്‍നിന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാക്കളില്‍നിന്നും കടുത്ത വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങളാണ് ഉയരുന്നത്. മകന് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചതിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള മാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ ചോദ്യത്തിന് അജയ് മിശ്ര പുഞ്ചിരിക്കുക മാത്രമാണ് ചെയ്തത്. മകന് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചതിന് തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ മന്ത്രി അജയ് മിശ്ര ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ബിജെപിക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രചാരണം തുടങ്ങുകയും ചെതു.
Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra, has been released from jail in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri, the main accused in the case of a farmer who was killed in a road accident protesting against the central government's agricultural laws. The court was questioned by the Bamya petition that had been imposed on police Ashish, which was fired against protesters. The court said the investigation did not find any gunshot wounds to the bodies of the dead or injured. The court also criticized the police for claiming that Ashish had persuaded the driver of the vehicle to drive away the farmers.
The apex court also held that the applicant was entitled to bail considering the fact that Ashish Mishra appeared before the investigating officers immediately after the summons was issued. Ashish Mishra's bail has drawn strong criticism from farmers and opposition leaders. Ajay Mishra only smiled when asked by the media about his son being granted bail. Shortly after his son was released on bail, Minister Ajay Mishra started campaigning for the BJP in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
