ലഖിംപുർ ഖേരിയിൽ കർഷകരെ കാർ കയറ്റി കൊന്ന കേസ്: ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര അറസ്റ്റിൽ

ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ  ലഖിംപുർ ഖേരിയിൽ കർഷകരെ കാർ കയറ്റി കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കേസിൽ മുൻ എംഎൽഎയും കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി അജയ് മിശ്രയുടെ മകനുമായ ആശിഷ് മിശ്ര അറസ്റ്റിൽ. 12  മണിക്കൂറിലേറേ നീണ്ട ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിനൊടുവിലാണ് അറസ്റ്റ്. ആശിഷ് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിനോട് സഹകരിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്ന് യുപി പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. സംഭവം നടക്കുന്ന സമയം താൻ സ്ഥലത്തില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് ആശിഷ് അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ ആവർത്തിച്ചത്.

കേസിൽ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ സമീപനത്തിലും പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തിൻ്റെ കാര്യത്തിലും സുപ്രീം കോടതി അതൃപ്തി അറിയിച്ചതിനു പിന്നാലെയാണ് ശനിയാഴ്ച ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിന് ഹാജരാകാൻ സമൻസ് അയച്ചത്. രാവിലെ 11ഓടൊണ് പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണസംഘത്തിനു (എസ്ഐടി) മുൻപിൽ ആശിഷ് ഹാജരായത്.

പ്രത്യേകാന്വേഷണസംഘം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ലഖിംപുർ ഖേരി ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് ഓഫിസിന്റെ പിൻവാതിലിലൂടെയാണ് ആശിഷ്മിശ്ര ഹാജരാകാനെത്തിയത്. സംഭവം സമയത്തു താൻ സ്ഥലത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നതിന് സാക്ഷിമൊഴികളും വിഡിയോകളും ആശിഷ് ഹാജരാക്കിയതായാണ് വിവരം.

Former MLA and central minister Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri murder case. The arrest comes after more than 12 hours of questioning. UP police said Ashish was not cooperating with the interrogation. Ashish reiterated to investigators that he was not at the scene at the time of the incident.

The summons was issued on Saturday after the apex court expressed dissatisfaction with the Uttar Pradesh government's approach to the case and the SIT. Ashish appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) at 11 am.

Ashish Mishra came through the back door of the Lakhimpur Kheri Crime Branch office where the Special Investigation Team is working. It is learned that Ashish produced testimonies and videos stating that he was not present at the time of the incident.
