യുക്രൈന്‍ - അതിര്‍ത്തിയില്‍ നിന്ന് സേനാ പിന്മാറ്റം തുടരുകയാണെന്ന് റഷ്യ

യുക്രൈന്‍ അതിര്‍ത്തിയോട് ചേര്‍ന്നുള്ള ക്രൈമിയയില്‍നിന്ന് സൈനിക അഭ്യാസം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച് റഷ്യൻ സേന അവരുടെ മുൻ നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട താവളങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുകയാണെന്ന് നാഥരാഷ്ട്ര മാധ്യമമായ റോയിട്ടേഴ്‌സ് റിപ്പോർട് ചെയ്യുന്നു. 'തെക്കന്‍ മിലിട്ടറി ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് യൂണിറ്റുകള്‍ അവരുടെ തന്ത്രപരമായ സൈനിക അഭ്യാസങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി അവരെ നേരത്തെ വിന്യസിച്ചിരുന്ന താവളങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുകയാണെന്ന്‌'റഷ്യന്‍ പ്രതിരോധ മന്ത്രാലയത്തെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് റോയിട്ടേഴ്‌സ് അടക്കമുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ റിപ്പോർട് ചെയ്യുന്നു.  യുക്രൈന്‍ അതിര്‍ത്തികളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗം സൈനികരെ അവരുടെ താവളങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മാറ്റികൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പുതിയ നീക്കം.

സംയുക്ത സൈനിക അഭ്യാസങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം സൈനികര്‍ ക്യാമ്പുകളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്നതിന്റെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും റഷ്യന്‍ ദേശീയ ചാനലായ റഷ്യ ടുഡേ പുറത്തുവിട്ടു. ടാങ്കുകളും പീരങ്കികളും അടക്കമുള്ള കവചിതവാഹനങ്ങളും ക്രൈമിയയില്‍ നിന്ന് റെയില്‍ മാര്‍ഗം മാറ്റുന്നതായും പ്രതിരോധ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രസ്താവനയിലുണ്ട്. 

എന്നാൽ റഷ്യൻ പ്രധിരോധ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻ്റെ സൈനീക പിന്മാറ്റപ്രഘ്യാപനം അമേരിക്കയുള്‍പ്പടെയുള്ള നാറ്റോ രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇത് വിശ്വാസത്തിലെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. യുക്രൈന്‍ അതിര്‍ത്തിയില്‍ നിലവിൽ ഒന്നരലക്ഷം സൈനികരെ റഷ്യ വിന്യസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അവിടെ ആക്രമണ ഭീഷണി നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നുമാണ് യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോ ബൈഡന്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്. റഷ്യ സൈനികരെ പിന്‍വലിച്ചുവെന്നത് തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സ്ഥരികരിക്കാനായിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ബൈഡന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

Reuters reports that Russian troops are returning to their pre-determined bases after completing military exercises in Crimea, which borders Ukraine. International media outlets, including Reuters, quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying that "the southern military district units have completed their strategic military exercises and are returning to their former bases." The move comes after it was announced yesterday that a group of troops were being transferred from the Ukrainian border to their bases.

Russia's national channel Russia Today also aired footage of soldiers returning to camps after joint military exercises. The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that armored vehicles, including tanks and artillery, were being diverted from Crimea by rail. But NATO nations, including the United States, have not believed the Russian Defense Ministry's announcement of a military withdrawal. U.S. President Joe Biden has said that Russia currently has 1.5 million troops stationed on the Ukrainian border and that there is a threat of attack. Biden said he had not been able to confirm that Russia had withdrawn troops.
