മതവിദ്വേഷ പ്രസംഗം - പി സി ജോർജിനെ അറസ്റ്റ്ചെയ്ത് ജാമ്യത്തിൽ വിട്ടു

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നടന്ന ഹിന്ദു മഹാസംഗമത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ മതവിദ്വേഷ പ്രസംഗത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പി സി ജോർജിനെ അറസ്റ്റ്ചെയ്ത് ജാമ്യത്തിൽ വിട്ടു. ഇന്ന് പുലര്‍ച്ച ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയിലെ പി സി ജോര്‍ജിൻ്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ നിന്ന് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത് തിരുവനന്തപുരം എ ആര്‍ ക്യാമ്പിലെത്തിച്ച ശേഷം അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഫോര്‍ട്ട് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മീഷണറുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘമാണ് പുലര്‍ച്ച അഞ്ചു മണിയോടെ ജോര്‍ജിനെ കസ്റ്റിഡിയിലെടുത്തത്. പി സി ജോർജിനെ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിനിടെ പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളും അഭിവാദ്യമര്‍പ്പിക്കലും നടന്നു.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം വട്ടപ്പാറയില്‍ വെച്ച് ബി ജെ പി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ വാഹനം തടഞ്ഞ് പി സി .ജര്‍ജിന് അഭിവാദ്യമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. സ്വന്തം വാഹനത്തിൽ പോലീസുകാർക്കും  മകന്‍ ഷോണ്‍ ജോര്‍ജിനും ഒപ്പമായിരുന്നു ജോർജ് യാത്ര ചെയ്തത്. പി സി ജോര്‍ജിൻ്റെ വാഹനത്തിന് നേരെ നാലാഞ്ചിറയിലെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ മുട്ടയേറ് ഉണ്ടായി. അവിടെ വെച്ച് തന്നെ ഡി വൈ എഫ്‌ ഐ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ കരിങ്കൊടി പ്രതിഷേധവും നടത്തി.

സുരക്ഷ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തിയാണ് ഫോര്‍ട്ട് പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിച്ച് പി.സി.ജോര്‍ജിനെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള നീക്കം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്  എ ആര്‍ ക്യാമ്പിലേക്കെത്തിച്ച് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. ജോര്‍ജിനെ എ ആര്‍ ക്യാമ്പിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കാണാന്‍ കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രി വി മുരളീധരനും മറ്റു ബിജെപി നേതാക്കളും എത്തിയെങ്കിലും പോലീസ് അനുമതി നിഷേധിച്ചു. ജോര്‍ജിനെതിരായ നടപടി അഭിപ്രായ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്‍മേലുള്ള കടന്നുകയറ്റമാണെന്ന് വി മുരളീധരന്‍ മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിച്ച ശേഷം കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രി മടങ്ങി.

ഡി ജി പി അനില്‍കാന്തിൻ്റെ നിര്‍ദേശപ്രകാരം ഫോര്‍ട്ട് പോലീസ് സ്‌റ്റേഷനില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രാത്രിയാണ് പി സി ജോര്‍ജിനെതിരെ കേസെടുത്തത്. വിദ്വേഷ പ്രസംഗം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള സംഘടനകള്‍ ഡി ജി പിക്ക് പരാതിനല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. 153 എ പ്രകാരമാണ് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തത്. ഇന്ന് 295 എ വകുപ്പ് കൂടി കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.

മുസ്ലിങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന ഹോട്ടലുകള്‍ക്കെതിരേ വിദ്വേഷപ്രസംഗവുമായി പി സി ജോര്‍ജ് സമ്മേളനത്തിനിടെ രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു. രണ്ട് മതവിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ വൈരമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലാണ് പി സി ജോര്‍ജ് പ്രസംഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. മുസ്ലിങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ ഹോട്ടലുകളിലും മറ്റും വരുന്ന ഇതര മതസ്ഥര്‍ക്ക് വന്ധ്യത വരുത്തുന്നതിന് തുള്ളിമരുന്ന് ആഹാരപദാര്‍ത്ഥങ്ങളില്‍ ചേര്‍ത്തു നല്‍കുന്നവെന്നടക്കം പ്രസംഗത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞുവെന്നും എഫ്ഐആറില്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ്, സര്‍ക്കാരിന് കടമെടുക്കാനുള്ള സ്ഥാപനം മാത്രമാണ്. അത് ഹിന്ദുക്കള്‍ക്ക് വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനു പുറത്തുവെച്ച് ഭക്തര്‍ കാണിക്ക സ്വീകരിച്ച് ഹിന്ദുക്കളുടെ ഉന്നമനത്തിനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കണം എന്നും ജോര്‍ജ് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

PC George was arrested and released on bail for making a hate speech at the Hindu Mahasangam in Thiruvananthapuram. He was taken into custody from PC George's house in Erattupetta this morning and taken to the Thiruvananthapuram AR camp. A team led by the Thiruvananthapuram Fort Assistant Commissioner took George into custody around 5 am. Protests and salutes took place while PC George was being brought to Thiruvananthapuram.

At Vattapara in Thiruvananthapuram, BJP workers blocked the vehicle and greeted PC George. George was traveling in his own vehicle with police and his son Sean George. PC George's vehicle was hit by an egg when he was about four o'clock. DYFI activists also staged a black flag protest there.For security reasons, PC George was taken to the Fort police station, where he was dropped off and taken to the AR camp. After George was brought to the AR camp, Union Minister V Muraleedharan and other BJP leaders came to see him but the police refused permission. The Union Minister returned after V Muraleedharan told the media that the action against George was an encroachment on freedom of expression.

The case was registered against PC George at the Fort police station last night on the instructions of DGP Anil Kant. Organizations, including the Youth League, had lodged complaints with the DGP alleging hate speech. The case was registered under Section 153A. Section 295A was added today.PC George had come out during the conference with hate speech against hotels run by Muslims. PC George preached in a way that created animosity between the two religions. The FIR also alleges that Muslims used speeches to inflict infertility on non-Muslims in their hotels and other places.The Devaswom Board is the only institution to borrow from the government. George had said that if it was not left to the Hindus, the devotees outside the temple should accept the show and use it for the upliftment of the Hindus.
