എം വി ഗോവിന്ദൻ സി പി ഐ എമ്മിൻ്റെ പുതിയ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി

എം വി ഗോവിന്ദൻ സി പി ഐ എമ്മിൻ്റെ പുതിയ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി. അനാരോ​ഗ്യത്തെ തുടർന്ന് കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ ഒഴിഞ്ഞതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ്  സി.പി.എം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി പദത്തിലേക്ക് തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ- എക്സൈസ് മന്ത്രിയും മുതിർന്ന നേതാവുമായ എം വി ​ഗോവിന്ദനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. സി പി എം സംസ്ഥാന സമിതിയോഗത്തിൽ ഐകഖണ്ടേനയാണ്  തീരുമാനം.

'സി പി ഐ എം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്ന കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന് ആരോഗ്യപരമായ കാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ ചുമതലകള്‍ നിര്‍വഹിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് എം വി ഗോവിന്ദനെ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ഇന്നു ചേര്‍ന്ന സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റിയോഗം തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു'- സി പി ഐ എം പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പത്രക്കുറിപ്പില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ഇതോടെ ​ഗോവിന്ദന് മന്ത്രിസ്ഥാനം ഒഴിയും. അദ്ദേഹം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്ത വകുപ്പിലേക്ക് പുതിയ ആളെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയോ മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് ചുമതല നൽകുകയ ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവരും.

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയനും സി പി എം ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി സീതാറാം യെച്ചൂരിയും കോടിയേരിയുമായി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഇതിനു ശേഷം ചേർന്ന സി പി എം സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റി യോഗത്തിലാണ് കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള നേതാവിനെ തന്നെ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറിയാക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.

MV Govindan is the new state secretary of CPI(M). Local Self-Government-Excise Minister and senior leader MV Govindan was selected as the state secretary of the CPM after Kodiyeri Balakrishnan resigned due to illness. The decision was taken unanimously in the CPM state committee meeting.

"Since Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, who was the state secretary of the CPIM, could not perform his duties due to health reasons, MV Govindan was elected as the state secretary by the state committee meeting held today," says a press release issued by the CPIM.

With this, Govindan will vacate the ministry. He will have to find a new person for the department he handled or give the responsibility to someone else.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury met Kodiyeri. In the CPM state committee meeting held after this, it was decided to make the leader from Kannur himself the state secretary.
