കാലത്തിൻ്റെ ചുവരെഴുത്ത് അറിഞ്ഞുള്ള തീരുമാനമാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവായി വി.ഡി.സതീശനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ചോദ്യത്തോടുള്ള  കെ.സി.വേണുഗോപാലിൻ്റെ പ്രതികരണം.

സതീശനായി വഴി മാറുന്നു, എല്ലാ പിന്തുണയും നൽകും'.വി.ഡി.സതീശന് പൂർണ പിന്തുണ എന്ന് രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല പറഞ്ഞു. താൻ മാറാൻ തയാറായിരുന്നു. മുതിർന്ന നേതാക്കളാണ് തുടരാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത്. തന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ജനങ്ങൾ വിലയിരുത്തട്ടെ എന്നും ചെന്നിത്തല പറഞ്ഞു.

ഗ്രൂപ്പ് തീവ്രവാദം കോൺഗ്രസ്സിന് ഗുരുതരമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കരുണാകരൻ ആൻ്റണി കാലഘട്ടം മുതലേ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ കോൺഗ്രസിൻ്റെ പ്രശ്നമാണെന്നും വി.എം.സുധീരൻ പറഞ്ഞു.  

K.C. Venugopal's response to the question of the election of V.D.Satheesan as leader of the opposition was a knowing decision.

Ramesh Chennithala said V.D.Satheesan was fully supportive. He was ready to change. Senior leaders were asked to continue. Chennithala also said that people should assess his actions.

Group terrorism has caused serious problems for the Congress. V.M. Sudheeran also said that groups have been a problem of the Congress since the Karunakaran Antony era.
