തൃശൂർ - ചെന്നൈ - തൃശൂർ റൂട്ടിൽ കെ എസ് ആർ ടി സിയുടെ മൾ‌ട്ടി ആക്സിൽ സ്കാനിയ സർവീസ്

കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ആർ ടി സി തൃശൂർ - ചെന്നൈ - തൃശൂർ റൂട്ടിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച മൾ‌ട്ടി ആക്സിൽ എസി സ്കാനിയ ബസ് സർവീസ് വിജയകരമായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ജനുവരി 6 മുതൽ ഒരു മാസം പരീക്ഷണാർഥം വാരാന്ത്യ സർവീസുകൾ നടത്തുന്നതിന് തീരുമാനമായി .തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ വിവിധ മലയാളി അസോസിയേഷൻ സംഘടനാ പ്രതിനിധികൾ ഗതാഗത മന്ത്രി ആൻ്റണി രാജുവിന് നൽകിയ നിവേദനം പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് തീരുമാനം. 

ചെന്നൈ കോയമ്പേട് ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ നിന്നു ജനുവരി 7,9, 14,16, 21,23,28,30, ഫെബ്രുവരി 4,6 തീയതികളിൽ (വെള്ളി, ഞായർ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ) വൈകുന്നേരം 06.30 മണിക്ക് സർവീസ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും. തൃശൂരിൽ നിന്നു ചെന്നൈക്കുള്ള ബസ് ജനുവരി 6,8,13,15,20,22,27,29, ഫെബ്രുവരി 3,5 തീയതികളിൽ (എല്ലാ വ്യാഴം, ശനി ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ) വൈകിട്ട് 5.30 മണിക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ട് അടുത്ത ദിവസം രാവിലെ 6.00 മണിക്ക് ചെന്നൈയിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരും. 860 രൂപയാണ് ടിക്കറ്റ് ചാർജ്. 

ചെന്നൈയിൽ നിന്നു തൃശൂരിലേക്ക് അശോക് നഗർ, സി എം ബി ടി, കോയെംബേടു, ഗിണ്ടി എന്നീ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ബോർഡിങ് പോയിന്റ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും. കൂടാതെ തൃശൂരിൽ നിന്നും പാലക്കാടു നിന്നും കണക്‌ഷൻ സർവീസിൽ ടിക്കറ്റ് റിസർവ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും തൃശൂർ, പാലക്കാട് ബസ് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനും സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കും. ലഗേജുകൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്  സഹായിയെയും സൗകര്യപ്പെടുത്തും.

പരീക്ഷണാർഥം ഒരു മാസം ഈ സർവീസ് ഓപ്പറേറ്റ് ചെയ്ത ശേഷം തുടർന്നുള്ള സർവീസ്  തീരുമാനിക്കും. ചെന്നൈ മലയാളികളുടെ ദീർഘകാല ആവശ്യമാണ് നിലവിൽ സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കുന്നത്. സർവീസിലേക്ക് സീറ്റുകൾ "എന്റെ കെ എസ് ആർ ടി സി" ആൻഡ്രോയിഡ്  ആപ്പ് വഴിയും കെ എസ് ആർ ടി സിയുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റ് വഴിയും ഓൺലൈനിൽ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാം.

Following the success of the multi-axle AC Scania bus service on the Kerala State RTC Thrissur - Chennai - Thrissur route, it has been decided to run the weekend services for one month from January 6 on a trial basis. The Chennai Coimbatore bus stand will be open on January 7, 9, 14, 16, 21,23,28,30 and February 4,6 (Fridays and Sundays) at 06.30 pm. The Thrissur-Chennai Central Special will leave Thrissur at 5.30 pm on January 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 and February 3 (every Thursday and Saturday) and arrive at Chennai Central at 6.00 am the next day. The ticket charge is Rs 860.

There will be boarding points from Chennai to Thrissur at Ashok Nagar, CMBT, Coimbatore and Guindy. In addition, facilities will be provided for booking tickets on connection services from Thrissur and Palakkad and for resting at Thrissur and Palakkad bus stations. The assistant will also be facilitated to handle the luggage. After operating this service for one month for testing, the next service will be decided. The long standing need of the Chennai Malayalees are now being met. Seats to the service can be booked online through the "Ente KSRTC" Android app and through the KSRTC website.
