തമിഴ്‌നാട് തദ്ദേശ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഡി എം കെ തരംഗം. എ ഐ എ ഡി എം കെ തകർന്നടിഞ്ഞു

തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഉജ്ജ്വല വിജയം നേടി ഡി എം കെ. പത്തു വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം സംസ്‌ഥാനത്ത്‌ നടന്ന തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മുഖ്യ എതിരാളികളായ എ ഐ എ ഡി എം കെ കയ്യടക്കി വച്ച വടക്കൻ തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ 75 ശതമാനം സീറ്റുകളും ഡി എം കെ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒൻപതു മാസത്തെ സ്‌റ്റാലിൻ ഭരണത്തിന് ലഭിച്ച ജനസ്വീകാര്യതയാണ് ഈ ഉജ്ജ്വല വിജയമെന്ന് ഡിഎംകെ പ്രവർത്തകർ പറഞ്ഞു.  കഴിഞ്ഞ കൊല്ലം നടന്ന നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ വടക്കൻ തമിഴ്‌നാടിന് കീഴിലെ കോയമ്പത്തൂർ പ്രദേശത്തെ പത്തു സീറ്റുകളും എഐഎഡിഎംകെ തൂത്തുവാരിയിരുന്നു. പുതുതായി രൂപീകരിച്ച 6 എണ്ണം അടക്കം 21 കോർപറേഷനുകളും ഡിഎംകെ ഭരിക്കും. ആകെയുള്ള 138 നഗരസഭകളിൽ 132 ഇടത്തും ഡി എം കെ വിജയക്കൊടി പാറിച്ചു. 489 നഗരപഞ്ചായത്തുകളിൽ 435 പഞ്ചായത്തുകളും ഡി എം കെ നേടി.

ചെന്നൈ കോർപറേഷനിലെ ആകെയുള്ള 200 വാർഡുകളിൽ 152 സീറ്റുകളിലും ഡിഎംക ജയിച്ചു. സഖ്യകക്ഷികളുടെ സീറ്റുകൾ കൂടി കണക്കാക്കിയാൽ ഡിഎംകെ സഖ്യത്തിന് 177 സീറ്റ് ഉണ്ട്. തമിഴ്നാട്ടിൽ അണ്ണാ ഡി എം കെയുമായുള്ള സഖ്യം പിരിഞ്ഞ് ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു മത്സരിച്ച ബിജെപിക്ക് കോർപറേഷൻ, നഗരസഭാ ഭരണം ഒരിടത്തുപോലും നേടാനായില്ല. മക്കൾ നീതി മയ്യം ഇത്തവണയും സംപൂജ്യരായതോടെ കമൽഹാസൻ്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിലനിൽപ്പ് അനിശ്ചിതത്വത്തിലായി. വിജയ് ആരാധകരുടെ സംഘടനയായ വിജയ് മക്കൾ ഇയക്കം നഗരപഞ്ചായത്തുകളിൽ 3 സീറ്റ് നേടി. 

The DMK has won a landslide victory in the local body elections in Tamil Nadu. Ten years later, in the state's local body elections, the DMK captured 75 per cent of the seats in northern Tamil Nadu held by its main rival, the AIADMK.

DMK activists said the landslide victory was a testament to the popularity of the Southelin regime over the past nine months. In last year's assembly elections, the AIADMK swept all the 10 seats in the Coimbatore region under northern Tamil Nadu. The DMK will govern 21 corporations, including 6 newly formed. The DMK won in 132 out of 138 municipalities. Out of 489 urban panchayats, DMK won 435 panchayats.

The DMK won 152 of the 200 wards in the Chennai Corporation. The DMK alliance has 177 seats, including allies. In Tamil Nadu, the BJP, which broke away from its alliance with the Anna DMK and contested alone, could not win a single seat in the corporation and municipal councils. Kamal Haasan's political survival is in doubt as his children's justice is zero again. Vijay Makkal Movement, an organization of Vijay fans, won 3 seats in the city panchayats.
