കിഴക്കന്‍ യുക്രൈൻ്റെ വിമത പ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ സ്വതന്ത്രമാക്കി റഷ്യ. സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കായി സൈന്യത്തെ അയച്ചു

യുക്രൈനെ കൂടുതൽ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലേക്ക് തള്ളിവിട്ടുകൊണ്ട് കൊണ്ട് യുക്രൈൻ്റെ കിഴക്കന്‍ വിമത പ്രദേശങ്ങളെ രണ്ട് സ്വതന്ത്ര രാജ്യങ്ങളായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് റഷ്യന്‍ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ്  വ്‌ളാദിമിര്‍ പുട്ടിൻ. 2014 മുതല്‍ റഷ്യന്‍ പിന്തുണയോടെ യുക്രൈന്‍ സൈന്യവുമായി ഏറ്റമുട്ടി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഡൊണെറ്റ്‌സ്‌കിനേയും ലുഹാന്‍സ്‌കിനേയുമാണ് റഷ്യ സ്വതന്ത്ര പ്രദേശങ്ങളായി അംഗീകരിച്ചത്.ഇതോടെ യുക്രൈന്‍-റഷ്യ സമാധാന ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ക്ക് കനത്ത തിരിച്ചടിയാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നത്. 

രാജ്യത്തെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് പുട്ടിൻ പ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തിയത്. ഈ നടപടിയിലൂടെ യുക്രൈൻ്റെ കിഴക്കന്‍ മേഖലകളിലേക്ക് റഷ്യന്‍ സൈന്യത്തിന് വേഗത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് യുഎസ് അടക്കമുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ കണക്കാക്കുന്നത്. ഈ ആശങ്കകള്‍ ശരിവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് രണ്ടു പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും സമാധാനം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താന്‍ റഷ്യന്‍ സൈന്യത്തോട് പുട്ടിന്‍ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു.

റഷ്യയുടെ ഈ നടപടി യുക്രൈൻ്റെ പരമാധികരത്തിന്‍മേലുള്ള കടന്നുകയറ്റമാണെന്നും, അതുവഴി അന്തരാഷ്ട്ര നിയമങ്ങളുടെ നഗ്നമായ ലംഘനമാണ് റഷ്യ നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ബോറിസ് ജോണ്‍സണ്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു. യുക്രൈന് ഐക്യദാര്‍ഢ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് യൂറോപ്യന്‍ യൂണിയനും രംഗത്തെത്തി. റഷ്യക്ക് മേല്‍ ഉപരോധം ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് ഫ്രാന്‍സും വ്യക്തമാക്കി. 

യുക്രൈന്‍ അതിര്‍ത്തിയില്‍ ഒന്നര ലക്ഷത്തോളം സൈനികരെ വിന്യസിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് റഷ്യ കടന്നുകയറ്റത്തിനുള്ള ശ്രമമാണ് നടത്തികൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോ ബൈഡന്റെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പുതിയ സംഭവവികാസങ്ങള്‍. സ്വതന്ത്രമാക്കിയ ഡൊണെറ്റ്‌സ്‌കിലും ലുഹാന്‍സ്‌കിലും യുക്രൈന്‍ വിമതരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ റഷ്യ സൈനിക നീക്കങ്ങള്‍ നടത്താനുള്ളഒരുക്കത്തിലാണെന്നും യുഎസ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കുന്നുണ്ട്.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared Ukraine's eastern rebel territories two independent states, pushing Ukraine further into crisis. Russia has recognized Donetsk and Luhansk as independent territories, which have been at loggerheads with Ukrainian forces since 2014. Putin made the announcement while addressing the nation. Countries, including the United States, believe that the move could speed up Russian military access to eastern Ukraine. Confirming these concerns, Putin ordered the Russian military to ensure peace in both regions.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that Russia's move is an encroachment on Ukraine's sovereignty and a blatant violation of international law. The European Union also came out in support of Ukraine. France has also said it will impose sanctions on Russia. The latest development comes after US President Joe Biden warned that Russia was trying to infiltrate Ukraine by deploying 1.5 million troops. The United States has warned that Russia is preparing to launch a military operation in the liberated Donetsk and Luhansk regions with the help of Ukrainian rebels.
