യുക്രൈനില്‍നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ ഒഴിപ്പിക്കൽ തുടങ്ങി. പണവും പാസ്‌പോര്‍ട്ടും കൈയില്‍ കരുതണം
യുക്രൈനില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ റുമാനിയ, ഹംഗറി അതിര്‍ത്തികള്‍ വഴി ഒഴിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികൾ ഇന്ത്യ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങളിലേയും അതിര്‍ത്തികളിലൂടെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ഉൾപ്പടെയുള്ളവരെ ഉൾപ്പടെ ഉള്ളവരെ ഒഴിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികള്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചതായി ബുഡാപെസ്റ്റിലെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ എംബസി അറിയിച്ചു. ഹംഗേറിയയുടെ അതിര്‍ത്തിയായ ചോപ്പ്-സഹോനി, റൊമേനിയയുടെ അതിര്‍ത്തിയായ പൊറുബെന്‍-സീറെറ്റ് എന്നീ ചെക്ക്‌പോയൻ്റുകള്‍ വഴി ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ തിരിച്ചെത്തിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം. ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ പ്രധാനമായും ഈ അതിര്‍ത്തികള്‍ക്ക് സമീപമുള്ള വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെയാണ് ഒഴിപ്പിക്കുക. കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ കേന്ദ്ര വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് വിവരങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിക്കാനും എംബസി നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.

അതിര്‍ത്തിയിലേക്ക് വരുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ അവശ്യ ചിലവുകള്‍ക്കുള്ള പണം യുഎസ് ഡോളര്‍ ആയും, പാസ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട്, വാക്‌സിനേഷന്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്, മറ്റ് അവശ്യവസ്തുക്കള്‍ എന്നിവ കൈയില്‍ കരുതണം. ഒഴിപ്പിക്കല്‍ നടപടി പ്രവര്‍ത്തനക്ഷമമായാല്‍ ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ സ്വന്തം നിലയില്‍ ഗതാഗത സംവിധാനം ഒരുക്കി അതിര്‍ത്തികളിലേക്ക് എത്തണം. യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്ന വാഹനത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പതാക പതിക്കണമെന്നും എംബസി നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ കോണ്‍ട്രാക്ടര്‍മാരെ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമീപിക്കണം. യാത്ര സുഗമമാക്കാന്‍ അതാത് ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റുകളില്‍ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഹെല്‍പ്പ് ലൈന്‍ നമ്പറുകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടണമെന്നും സഹായം ആവശ്യമുള്ളവര്‍ ഹെല്‍പ്പ് ലൈന്‍ നമ്പറില്‍ വിളിക്കണമെന്നും എബസി അറിയിച്ചു. വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ അടക്കം 16000ത്തോളം ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ നിലവില്‍ യുക്രൈനില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്. റഷ്യന്‍ സേന അക്രമണം ശക്തമാക്കിയ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി റഷ്യന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റുമായി ടെലിഫോണില്‍ സംസാരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുടെ സുരക്ഷയില്‍ ആശങ്ക അറിച്ചിരുന്നു.
India has begun evacuation of Indians stranded in Ukraine across the Romania-Hungary border. The Indian embassy in Budapest said it had begun evacuating people, including students, across the border between the two countries. The decision was made to repatriate the Indians through the checkpoints at Chop-Sahoni on the Hungarian border and on the Poruben-Siret border on the Romanian border. The first phase will mainly evacuate students near these borders. The embassy also directed the Indians stranded to contact the Union Ministry of External Affairs.
Indians crossing the border must pay US dollars for essential expenses, passport, vaccination certificate and other essentials. Once the evacuation process is in place, Indians will have to set up their own transport system to reach the borders. The embassy also directed that the Indian flag be flown on the vehicle.
Students should approach the contractors for requirements. The embassy said that to facilitate the journey, one should contact the helpline numbers set up at the respective check posts and those in need should call the helpline number. It is estimated that about 16,000 Indians, including students, are currently stranded in Ukraine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had telephoned the Russian president yesterday to express concern over the security of Indians in the wake of the escalation of violence by Russian forces.
