ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ തെറ്റായ ഭൂപടം. ശക്തമായ പ്രതിഷേധം അറിയിച്ചുവെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രം

 ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭൂപടം തെറ്റായ രീതിയിൽ ചിത്രീകരിച്ച സംഭവം ശക്തമായി ഉന്നയിച്ചതായും തുടർന്ന് ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനാ മാപ്പിൽ ഒരു നിഷേധക്കുറിപ്പ് ഇട്ടതായും കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ രാജ്യസഭയെ അറിയിച്ചു. ഭൂപടത്തിൽ ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായ കളർ നൽകി ഡബ്ല്യൂ എച്ച് ഒ ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് രാജ്യസഭയിൽ ഉയർന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന് കേന്ദ്ര വിദേശകാര്യ സഹ മന്ത്രി വി മുരളീധരൻ രേഖാമൂലം മറുപടി നൽകുകയായിരുന്നു.

കേന്ദ്ര വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രി ജോതിരാദിത്യ സിന്ധ്യയാണ് ചോദ്യം ഉന്നയിച്ചത്. ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭൂപടം തെറ്റായ രീതിയിലാണ് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ജമ്മു കശ്മീർ, ലഡാക്ക് എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങൾക്ക് തീർത്തും വ്യത്യസ്തങ്ങളായ നിറങ്ങളാണ് നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്, കൂടാതെ അതിർത്തികൾ കുത്തുകൾ കൊണ്ടും ഇടവിട്ട വരകൾകൊണ്ടുമാണ്  അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും പ്രതിഷേധം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നായിരുന്നു സിന്ധ്യയുടെ ചോദ്യം.

വൈബ്സൈറ്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭൂപടം തെറ്റായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിഷയം ഉന്നതതല സമിതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ശക്തമായി ഉന്നയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് വി മുരളീധരൻ രേഖാമൂലമുള്ള മറുപടിയിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തെറ്റായ രീതിയിൽ ഭൂപടം ചിത്രീകരിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ നിഷേധക്കുറിപ്പ് നൽകിയതായി ജനീവയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്ഥിരം ദൗത്യ സംഘത്തെ ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടന അറിയിച്ചതായും മന്ത്രാലയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. 

തൃണമൂൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് എം പി ശന്തനു സെൻ ആണ് ഭൂപടത്തിൽ ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിന് വ്യത്യസ്ത നിറം നൽകിയ സംഭവം ആദ്യമായി ഉന്നയിക്കുന്നത്. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിക്ക് അയച്ച കത്തിലായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. ജനുവരി 30-നായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. 

The Central Government informed the Rajya Sabha that the incident of misrepresentation of the map of India on the World Health Organization website was strongly highlighted and a negative note was subsequently placed on the World Health Organization map. The map was given a different color to Jammu and Kashmir and published on the WHO official website. Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan was responding in writing to a question in the Rajya Sabha regarding the incident.

The question was raised by Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The official website of the World Health Organization (WHO) has misrepresented the map of India. The regions of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are given very different colors and the borders are marked with dots and dashed lines. Scindia questioned whether the central government had lodged any protest with the World Health Organization in this regard.

In a written reply, V Muraleedharan clarified that the issue of misrepresentation of the map of India on the website has been strongly raised, including in the High Level Committee. The ministry said the World Health Organization (WHO) had informed the Indian Permanent Mission in Geneva that the website had issued a negative note on the incident.
