ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിൽ വീണ്ടും താമര വിരിയിച്ച് യോഗി

ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിൽ വീണ്ടും താമര വിരിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് അക്ഷരാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ഇല്ലാണ്ടായി. 403 സീറ്റിൽ 255 എന്ന വ്യക്തമായ ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തോടെ യോഗി വീണ്ടും അധികാരത്തിൽ വരുമ്പോൾ കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് വെറും രണ്ട് സീറ്റിലേക്ക് ഒതുങ്ങി. മായാവതിയുടെ ബിസ്‌പിയാണ് അതിലും ദയനീയ അവസ്ഥയിൽ, ഒറ്റ സീറ്റിലാണ് അവർക്ക് വിജയിക്കാനായത്. എന്നാൽ അഖിലേഷ് യാദവിൻ്റെ സമാജ്‌വാദി പാർട്ടി ഇത്തവണ 128 സീറ്റ് നേടി ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രതിപക്ഷ കക്ഷിയായി മാറി. എന്നാൽ യോഗിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനിറങ്ങിയ ബിജെപിക്ക് ഇത്തവണ 57 സീറ്റിൻ്റെ കുറവുണ്ടായപ്പോൾ എസ്പി കഴിഞ്ഞ തവാതത്തേതിലും മൂന്ന് ഇരട്ടി സീറ്റ് വർധിപ്പിച്ചു. അഖിലേഷ് ആദ്യമായി നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മത്സരിച് ജയിച്ചു എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയും ഈ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനുണ്ട്. 2012ഇൽ ലോക്‌സഭാ അംഗം ആയിരിക്കെയാണ്, രാജിവെച്ച് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആവുന്നത്. തുടർന്ന് ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭാ കൗൺസിലിലേക്ക് എം എൽ എമാരാൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപെടുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. യോഗിയും ലോക്‌സഭാ അംഗത്വം രാജിവെച്ച് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിസ്ഥാനം ഏറ്റെടുക്കാൻ ഇതേ പാതയാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ തവണ പിന്തുടർന്നത്. ഇത്തവണ യോഗി ഘോരക്പുരിൽനിന്നും അഖിലേഷ് കാർഹാലിൽ നിന്നും വിജയിച്ചാണ് നിയമസഭയിൽ എത്തുന്നത്. കാർഷിക നിയമവും അതേത്തുടർന്നുണ്ടായ ഐതിഹാസിക കർഷക സമരവും ബിജെപിയുടെ സീറ്റെണ്ണം കുറയാൻ ഇടയാക്കി എന്നതാണ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലം കാണിക്കുന്നത്.

When the lotus blossomed again in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress literally disappeared. When Yogi returned to power with a clear majority of 255 out of 403 seats, the Congress was reduced to just two seats. Even more pathetic is Mayawati's BJP, which won a single seat. But Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party became the largest opposition party, winning 128 seats this time. However, the BJP, led by Yogi, lost 57 seats this time, while the SP tripled the number of seats. This is the first time that Akhilesh has contested and won the Assembly elections. When he was a member of the Lok Sabha in 2012, he resigned and became the Chief Minister. He was then elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council by MLAs. Yogi also followed the same path last time to resign from the Lok Sabha and take over as Chief Minister. This time Yogi will win from Ghorakpur and Akhilesh from Karhal. The election results show that the agrarian law and the ensuing legendary farmers' strike have reduced the BJP's number of seats.
