ഫ്രാന്‍സിൽ വീണ്ടും ഇമ്മാനുവൽ മാക്രോണ്‍

ഫ്രാന്‍സിലും തുടർ ഭരണം. പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ഇമ്മാനുവൽ മാക്രോണ്‍ വാശിയേറിയ മത്സരത്തില്‍ എതിരാളിയായ മാരിന്‍ ലെ പെന്നിനെ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തി. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മാക്രോണിന് 58-ഉം ലെ പെന്നിന് 42-ഉം വോട്ടുകൾ ലഭിച്ചു.

20 വര്‍ഷത്തിനുശേഷം ഫ്രാന്‍സില്‍ തുടർ ഭരണം നേടുന്ന പ്രസിഡൻ്റെന്ന നേട്ടം ഇമ്മാനുവൽ മാക്രോണ്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കി. പരാജയം അംഗീകരിച്ച ലെ പെന്‍ തന്നെ പിന്തുണച്ചവര്‍ക്കെല്ലാം നന്ദി അറിയിച്ചു. എന്‍ മാര്‍ച്ചെ പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയും മധ്യമാര്‍ഗിയുമാണ് മാക്രോണ്‍. മാരിന്‍, നാഷണല്‍ റാലി എന്ന തീവ്രവലതുപക്ഷ പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയായിരുന്നു. ഞായറാഴ്ച നടന്ന അന്തിമഘട്ടവോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ 63.2 ശതമാനം പോളിങ്ങാണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. 2017-ലെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിലും ഇവര്‍ തമ്മിലായിരുന്നു അന്തിമപോരാട്ടം.ഫ്രാന്‍സിൻ്റെ തലപ്പത്ത് അഞ്ചു വര്‍ഷം കൂടി തുടരാന്‍ അനുവദിച്ചതിന് മാക്രോണ്‍ വോട്ടര്‍മാരോട്  നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു. വിജയ പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന് ശേഷം ഭാര്യ ബ്രിജിത്തിനൊപ്പം കൈകോര്‍ത്ത് ഈഫല്‍ ടവറിന് താഴെ തന്റെ അനുയായികള്‍ ഒത്തുകൂടിയ പ്ലാസയില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം എത്തി.

"തൻ്റെ ആശയങ്ങള്‍ അംഗീകരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടല്ല, മറിച്ച് ലെ പെന്നിനെ നിരസിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടാണ് തനിക്ക് വിജയം നേടാനായതെന്ന്" അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. 'ഇനി ഞാന്‍ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു ക്യാമ്പിൻ്റെയും സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയല്ല; മറിച്ച് ഫ്രാൻസുകാർ എല്ലാവരുടേയും പ്രസിഡന്റാണ്' എന്ന്  അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ബോറിസ് ജോണ്‍സണ്‍ അടക്കുള്ള വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്ര നേതാക്കള്‍ ഇമ്മാനുവൽ മാക്രോണിൻ്റെ വിജയത്തെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.

Leaders of various nations, including British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, hailed Emmanuel Macron's victory.
