തൃക്കാക്കര ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് - ഡോ. ജോ ജോസഫും ഉമാ തോമസും പത്രിക സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു

തൃക്കാക്കര ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ ചിത്രം തെളിഞ്ഞു. എൽ ഡി ഫ്, യു ഡി എഫ് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾ നാമനിർദ്ദേശ പത്രിക സമർപ്പിച്ചു. എൻ ഡി എ സ്ഥാനാർഥി എ എൻ രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ നാളെ പത്രിക സമർപ്പിച്ചേക്കും. ആദ്യം പത്രിക സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചത് എൽ ഡി ഫ് സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥി ഡോ. ജോ ജോസഫാണ്. സി പി എം ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി സി എന്‍ മോഹനന്‍, സി പി ഐ ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി പി രാജു, സി.പി.എം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് അംഗം എം. സ്വരാജ്, ജോസ് കെ മാണി തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം രാവിലെ 10.45 ഓടെ പ്രകടനമായി കളക്ട്രേറ്റിൽ എത്തിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പത്രിക സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചത്. രാവിലെ 11.45 ഓടെയാണ് യു ഡി എഫ് സ്ഥാനാർഥി ഉമാ തോമസ് പത്രിക സമർപ്പിക്കാനെത്തിയത്. ഹൈബി ഈഡൻ എം പി, ഡി സി സി അധ്യക്ഷൻ മുഹമ്മദ് ഷിയാസ് എന്നിവരും കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയെ നിര്‍ത്തുന്നില്ലെന്ന് എ എ പിയും ട്വൻ്റി-20യും പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതോടെ ആ വോട്ടുകള്‍ നേടാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ് ഇരു മുന്നണികളും. തൃക്കാക്കരയിലെ മുന്‍ എം എല്‍ എ പി ടി തോമസ്സും ട്വൻ്റി-20യും വലിയ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിലായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവരുടെ വോട്ടുകള്‍ ഉമാ തോമസിന് കിട്ടുമോയെന്നത് ഉറപ്പിച്ച് പറയാനാവാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിലാണ് യു ഡി എഫ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ തവണ 13897 വോട്ടാണ് ട്വൻ്റി-20 പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ട്വൻ്റി-20യുടെ വോട്ടുകൾ മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ നിർണായകമാണ്. 

ട്വൻ്റി-20 സര്‍ക്കാരുമായും ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിലാണ്. സര്‍ക്കാർ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നാരോപിച്ച് ട്വൻ്റി-20 പ്രസിഡന്റ്ൻ്റ് സാബു എം. ജേക്കബ് കേരളത്തില്‍ തുടങ്ങാനിരുന്ന പുതിയ വ്യവസായ സ്ഥാപനം തെലങ്കാനയിലേക്കു മാറ്റി. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ട്വൻ്റി-20 വോട്ടുകള്‍ പെട്ടിയില്‍ വീഴുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ഇടതുപക്ഷത്തിനും സാധിക്കാത്ത സാഹചര്യവും മണ്ഡലത്തിലുണ്ട്. എങ്കിലും ജോ ജോസഫിലൂടെ വികസന രാഷ്ട്രീയം പറഞ്ഞ് തൃക്കാക്കര ഇത്തവണ പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത് സെഞ്ച്വറിയടിക്കാമെന്നുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തിലാണ് എല്‍ ഡി. എഫ്.

The picture of the Thrikkakara by-election is clear. LDF and UDF candidates filed nomination papers. NDA candidate AN Radhakrishnan is likely to file his nomination tomorrow. With the AAP and the T20 announcing that they will not field a candidate, both the fronts are trying to win those votes. Former Thrikkakara MLA APT Thomas and T20I were in a big clash. Therefore, the UDF is in a dilemma as to whether Uma Thomas will get their votes. Last time, the T20I captured 13897 votes. Therefore, the votes of the Twenty20 are crucial in the constituency.

The T20I is also currently in conflict with the government. Sabu M, president of T20I, has accused the government of harassing him. Jacob moved his new business venture from Kerala to Telangana. Therefore, there is a situation in the constituency where the Left is unable to ensure that the Twenty20 votes fall in the box. However, LDF is confident that he can capture Thrikkakara this time and score a century through development politics through Joe Joseph.
