രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധിക്കും സോണിയ ഗാന്ധിക്കും ഇ ഡി നോട്ടീസ്
നാഷണല്‍ ഹെറാള്ഡ് കേസിൽ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് അധ്യക്ഷ സോണിയാ ഗാന്ധിക്കും രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിക്കും എന്‍ഫോഴ്സ്മെന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റിൻ്റെ നോട്ടീസ്. രാഹുലിനോട് ജൂണ്‍ രണ്ടിനും (ഇന്ന്) സോണിയയോട് ജൂണ്‍ എട്ടിനും ഹാജരാകാനാണ് ഇ ഡി നോട്ടീസില്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍, നിലവില്‍ വിദേശത്തായതിനാല്‍ ഹാജരാകാനുള്ള സമയം ജൂണ്‍ അഞ്ചിനു ശേഷം നല്‍കണമെന്ന് രാഹുല്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
നിലവിൽ യങ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പ്രൈവറ്റ് ലിമിറ്റഡിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള അസോസിയേറ്റഡ് ജേര്‍ണല്‍സ് ലിമിറ്റഡ്(എ ജെ എല്‍) ആണ് നാഷണല്‍ ഹെറാള്‍ഡിൻ്റെ പബ്ളിഷര്‍മാര്‍. എ ജെ എല്ലിനെ യങ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പ്രൈവറ്റ് ലിമിറ്റഡ് ഏറ്റെടുത്തതില്‍ ചതി, ഗൂഢാലോചന, വിശ്വാസവഞ്ചന തുടങ്ങിയവ നടന്നുവെന്നാണ് കേസ്. അതേസമയം നാഷണല്‍ ഹെറാള്ഡ് വിഷയത്തിൽ പണമിടപാട് നടന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ശമ്പളവും മറ്റും കൊടുത്തുതീര്‍ക്കുന്നതിന് കടം, ഒഹരികളാക്കി മാറ്റുക മാത്രമാണുണ്ടായതെന്നുമാണ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് പറയുന്നത്. കള്ളപ്പണ നിരോധന നിയമത്തിലെ ക്രിമിനല്‍ വകുപ്പുകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ സോണിയയുടെയും രാഹുലിൻ്റെയും മൊഴി രേഖപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് നോട്ടീസ് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് ഇ ഡി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെയും ഭാഷ്യം. അന്വേഷണത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാക്കളായ മല്ലികാര്‍ജുന്‍ ഖാര്‍ഗെ, പവന്‍ ബന്‍സാല്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവരെ ഈയടുത്ത് ഇ ഡി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
അതേസമയം ഇ ഡിയുടെ നീക്കത്തിനെതിരേ രൂക്ഷവിമര്‍ശനവുമായി കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് രംഗത്തെത്തി. കളിപ്പാവകളായ അന്വേഷണ ഏജന്‍സികളെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് രാഷ്ട്രീയ എതിരാളികളെ പേടിപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് ബി.ജെ.പി. ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് മനു അഭിഷേക് സിങ്വി പറഞ്ഞു. 2015-ല്‍ ഇ.ഡി. നാഷണല്‍ ഹെറാള്ഡ് കേസ് അന്വേഷണം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചതാണ്. പക്ഷെ സര്‍ക്കാരിന് അത് ഇഷ്ടമായില്ല. മാത്രമല്ല ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ മാറ്റുകയും പുതിയ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ക്ക് ചുമതല നല്‍കി കേസ് പുനരന്വേഷണത്തിന് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി. പണപ്പെരുപ്പം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രശ്നങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധ തിരിക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കമാണിതെന്നും സിങ്വി കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
Enforcement Directorate issues notice to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case.
