ഇന്ത്യൻ ആർമിയിൽ ഓഫീസേഴ്‌സ് റാങ്കിന് താഴെ ഇനി പഴയ രീതിയിലുള്ള സ്ഥിര നിയമനം ഇല്ല. ഇനി റിക്രൂട്ട്മെൻ്റുകൾ ഒക്കെ "അഗ്നി പഥ്" സ്‌കീമിൽ ആയിരിക്കും. ഈ രീതിയിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സൈനികരെ "അഗ്നിവീർ" എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടും എന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ പറഞ്ഞു.  

- എന്താണ് അഗ്നിപഥ്  പദ്ധതി?   

സൈന്യത്തിൽ ജവാന്മാരുടെ നിലവിലെ ശരാശരി പ്രായമായ 32 എന്നത് 25 ആക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നു എന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണ് അഗ്നിപഥ് എന്നത്.

ഈ പദ്ധതി പ്രകാരം സൈന്യത്തിൽ ചേരുന്നവരിൽ 75% ആളുകൾ 4 കൊല്ലം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോകേണ്ടി വരും. മികവ് പുലർത്തിന്ന 25% ആളുകൾക്ക് സേനയിൽ തുടരാൻ കഴിയും. 

അഗ്നി വീരന്മാർക്ക് നിയമനം നൽകുന്ന പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിലവിൽ ജോലിചെയ്യുന്ന ജവാന്മാരുടെ നിലവിലെ ശമ്പളം എത്രയാണ് ?

20000 മുതൽ 30000 വരെ

• ഒന്നാം വർഷം മുതൽ നാലാം വർഷം വരെ 30000 മുതൽ 40000 വരെ പ്രതിമാസ ശമ്പളം.

• The average salary of each firefighter is Rs 1710000. That is, for a firefighter, the Central Government has to pay Rs. That means the average salary and allowance alone costs around Rs 60,000. Other than expenses including training.

75% can stay for 4 years and 25% for up to 15 years.

When the government spends at least Rs 1 lakh per month on food, accommodation and training, the return is only 4 years. How many people are trying to infiltrate the army for this amount of money? How many agents will there be for that? What consideration will they get in the army if they are taken for only 4 years?

While there is no politics involved, all other risks aside, it's at least financially a losing trade.
