കേരളത്തിൽ ഭീകരർ റിക്രൂട്ടിങ് നടത്തുന്നു, സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സ്ലീപ്പർ സെൽസ് ഉണ്ടാവും, മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വേട്ടയിൽ ഖേദമില്ല - ഡിജിപി

കേരളം ഭീകരസംഘടനകളുടെ റിക്രൂട്ടിംഗ് ലക്ഷ്യമായി മാറുന്നുവെന്ന അതീവ ഗുരുതര നിരീക്ഷണം ബെഹ്റ നടത്തി. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമുള്ളവരെ പോലും വർഗീയ വത്കരിക്കുകയാണ് ചിലരുടെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്നും മലയാളികളുടെ ഭീകരബന്ധം ആശങ്കയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതാണെന്നും ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ന്യൂസിന് അനുവദിച്ച പ്രത്യേക അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ വിരമിക്കുന്ന ഡിജിപി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സ്ലീപ്പർ സെല്ലുകൾ ഇല്ലെന്ന് പറയാനാകില്ലെന്നും ഡിജിപി ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ന്യൂസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. 

വ്യക്തികളെ ഭീകരസംഘങ്ങൾ വലയിലാക്കുന്നത് തടയാൻ പലതരത്തിലുള്ള  ശ്രമങ്ങൾ പൊലീസ് നടത്തുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ബെഹ്റ ഇതിൻ്റെ മുഴുവൻ വിശദാംശങ്ങളും ഇപ്പോൾ വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. പല ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഇപ്പോൾ ആശങ്കകൾ കുറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നുവെന്നും ഡിജിപി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. 

മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വേട്ടയിൽ ചെയ്തത് പോലീസിന്റെ കർത്തവ്യം മാത്രമാണെന്നും മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വേട്ടയിൽ ഒരു ഖേദവും ഇല്ലെന്നുമാണ് ബെഹ്റയുടെ നിലപാട്, ചെയ്തത് സ്വന്തം ജോലിയാണെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പൊലീസ് മേധാവി വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു. 

മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വേട്ടയിൽ ഖേദമില്ലെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പൊലീസ് മേധാവി ലോക്നാഥ് ബെഹ്റ. മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകൾക്ക് നിരുപാധികം കീഴടങ്ങാൻ അവസരം നൽകിയിരുന്നുവെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ബെഹ്റ സംരക്ഷിത വനത്തിൽ യൂണിഫോമിട്ട് വരുന്നവർ നിരപരാധികളല്ലെന്ന നിലപാടെടുത്തു. 

മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വേട്ടയിൽ ചെയ്തത് പോലീസിന്റെ കർത്തവ്യം മാത്രമാണെന്നും മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിൽ ഒരു ഖേദവും ഇല്ലെന്നുമാണ് ബെഹ്റയുടെ നിലപാട്. ചെയ്തത് സ്വന്തം ജോലിമാത്രമാണെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പൊലീസ് മേധാവി വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ വിവാദം അനാവശ്യമാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ബെഹ്റ രാജ്യസുരക്ഷക്കാണോ ചിലവിനാണോ പ്രധാന്യമെന്ന് ചോദിക്കുന്നതിൽ അർത്ഥമില്ലെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ നിലനിർത്തുമെന്നും ‍ഡിജിപി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് ഭീഷണിയുള്ള മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണ് ബഹ്റയുടെ  വാദം. 

സ്വർണക്കടത്ത് തടയാൻ മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര മാതൃകയിൽ നിയമം കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്നും ഡിജിപി ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ന്യൂസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. പൊലീസ് എന്ത് ചെയ്തുവെന്ന് ജനം വിലയിരുത്തട്ടെയെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ബെഹ്റ അഞ്ചു വർഷത്തെ പ്രവർത്തനം സ്വയം വിലയിരുത്തുന്നില്ലെന്നും ബെഹ്‌റ പറഞ്ഞു. വിരമിക്കൽ ഏറെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെയും സംതൃപ്തിയോടെയുമാണ്, കേരളാ പൊലീസ് രാജ്യത്തെ തന്നെ മികച്ച സേനകളിൽ ഒന്നാണെന്നാണ് വിരമിക്കുന്ന ഡിജിപിപറഞ്ഞു. കിട്ടിയ ഇന്നിംഗ്സ് നന്നായി കളിച്ചുവെന്ന് ബെഹ്റ പറയുന്നു. 

രാഷ്ട്രീയ ആരോപണങ്ങളോട് പ്രതികരിക്കാൻ ബെഹ്റ തയ്യാറായില്ല. ബിജെപിയുടെ ആൾ ആണെന്ന ആരോപണത്തോട് പ്രതികരിക്കാനില്ലെന്ന് പറ‍ഞ്ഞ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി വ്യക്തിപരമായ ആരോപണങ്ങളിൽ  വസ്തുത എന്താണെന്ന് സ്വയം അറിയാമെന്ന് നിലപാടെടുത്തു. വിസ്‌മയ കേസ് കേരള മനസാക്ഷിയെ ഉലച്ചുവെന്നും നിയമങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് മാത്രം സ്ത്രീധനം തടയാനാവില്ലെന്നും ഡിജിപി പറയുന്നു. കേരളീയ സമൂഹം ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ ചർച്ച നടത്തണം, സ്ത്രീധനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന കാരണങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തണം. നിശാന്തിനിക്ക് ദിവസവും ഇരുന്നൂറോളം സ്ത്രീകളുടെ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ‍‍ഡിജിപി സ്ത്രീസുരക്ഷയുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ബോധവത്കരണം ഉണ്ടാകണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

Loknath Behra made a very serious observation that Kerala was becoming a recruiting target for terrorist organizations. In an exclusive interview with Asianet News, the retiring DGP said that some people aim to communalize even educated people and that the terror links in the State are a cause for concern. The DGP also told Asianet News that it could not say that there were no sleeper cells. Behra said the police were making various efforts to prevent terrorist groups from rounding up individuals and explained that the full details could not be revealed now. The DGP added that concerns are now diminishing as part of several efforts.

The state police chief explains that behra's stand was that it was only the duty of the police to do in the Maoist hunt and that there was no regret over the Maoist witch-hunt, which was his own job. State police chief Loknath Behra said he did not regret the Maoist witch hunt. Behra said the Maoists were given an opportunity to surrender unconditionally and maintained that those who came in uniform in the protected forest were not innocent.

Behra's stand is that what was done in the Maoist hunt was only the duty of the police and there was no regret over the Maoist encounter. The state police chief explained that it was only his own job. Stating that the helicopter controversy was unnecessary, Behra said there was no point in asking whether national security or expenses were important and the DGP said the helicopter would be maintained. Bahra claims that the helicopter is being used in other Maoist-threatened states.

The DGP also told Asianet News that a Maharashtra model of law will be enacted to curb gold smuggling. Behra said he would not assess the five-year work himself, saying people should assess what the police had done. The retiring DGP said the Kerala police was one of the best forces in the country, with great joy and satisfaction in retirement. Behra says the innings he got played well.

Behra was not prepared to respond to the political allegations. The police chief said he did not respond to the allegations that he was a BJP man and maintained that he knew the truth of the personal allegations. The DGP says that the Vismaya case has shaken Kerala's conscience and dowry cannot be prevented by laws alone. The Keralite community should discuss the matter and find out the root causes of dowry. Stating that Nishantini receives messages of about 200 women every day, the DGP called for awareness about women's safety.
