രാജ്യത്തെ നിയമങ്ങളാണ് പ്രധാനമെന്നും മെന്നും സ്വകാര്യ കമ്പനിയുടെ നയങ്ങളല്ലെന്നും വിവരസാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പാർലമെൻ്റ്  സ്ഥിരം സമിതി. പുതിയ ഐടി ചട്ടം നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിവാദങ്ങളിൽ ട്വിറ്ററിൻ്റെ നിലപാടുകളോട് എതിർപ്പറിയിച്ച സമിതി കർശന നിലപാടാണു സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. രാജ്യത്തെ നിയമങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കുന്നതിൽ വീഴ്ച വരുത്തിയ കമ്പനിക്കു പിഴ ചുമത്താതിരിക്കാൻ കാരണം വ്യക്തമാക്കാനും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
