അഫ്ഗാൻ - ഇ വീസ നിർബന്ധമാക്കി ഇന്ത്യ. മുൻ വീസകളെല്ലാം അസാധുവാകും

 

അഫ്‌ഗാനിസ്ഥാനിൽനിന്ന്  ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്ന അഫ്ഗാൻ പൗരൻമാർക്ക് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് വീസ (ഇ വീസ) നിർബന്ധമാക്കി. അഫ്ഗാനിലെ സംഘർഷാവസ്ഥ കണക്കിലെടുത്താണു നടപടിയെന്നു കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു. ഇതോടെ മുൻപ് വീസ ലഭിച്ചവരും ഇപ്പോൾ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഇല്ലാത്തവരുമായ അഫ്ഗാൻ പൗരൻമാരുടെ വീസ അസാധുവാകും. നിലവിൽ വീസയുള്ളവരും ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് വരാൻ പുതിയ ഇ-വീസയ്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കണം  

Authorized Portal for Visa Application to India എന്ന വെബ്സൈറ്റ് വഴി ഇ വീസയ്ക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. സംഘർഷത്തിനിടെ അഫ്ഗാൻ പൗരൻമാരിൽ പലരുടെയും പാസ്പോർട്ടുകൾ നഷ്ടമായതായും താലിബാൻ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തതായും റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവ മറ്റുള്ളവർ ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യാനുള്ള സാധ്യത കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് മുൻപ് നൽകിയ വീസകളെല്ലാം അസാധുവാക്കാൻ ഇന്ത്യ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ വീസ പതിപ്പിച്ച ഒട്ടേറെ അഫ്ഗാൻ പാസ്പോർട്ടുകൾ കാബൂളിലെ ട്രാവൽ ഏജൻസിയിൽ നിന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം മോഷണം പോയി. പാക്ക് ചാരസംഘടനയായ ഐഎസ്ഐയുടെ പക്കൽ അവ എത്താനുള്ള സാധ്യത സംശയിക്കുന്നു. 

രക്ഷാദൗത്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഇതുവരെ എണ്ണൂറോളം പേരെ അഫ്ഗാനിൽ നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യക്കാരും അഫ്ഗാൻ ഉൾപ്പെടെ മറ്റു ചില രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരും കാബൂളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വ്യോമസേനാ വിമാനത്തിൽ എത്തുമെന്നാണു വിവരം.

Electronic visas (E- VISA) were made mandatory for Afghan nationals travelling from Afghanistan to India. The Union Home Ministry said the action was in view of the tensions in Afghanistan. With this, the visas of Afghan nationals who have previously received visas and are no longer in India will be voided. Those who currently have visas must also apply for a new e-visa to come to India

E-VISA can be applied for through the website Authorized Portal for Visa Application to India. There were reports that many of the Afghan nationals had lost their passports and been seized by the Taliban during the clashes. India decided to nullify all previous visas in view of the possibility of them being misused by others. Several Afghan passports with Indian visas were stolen from a travel agency in Kabul the previous day. The possibility of them reaching the Pak spy agency ISI is suspected.

So far, 800 people have been brought to India from Afghanistan as part of the rescue mission. Indians and people from some other countries, including Afghans, are expected to arrive by air force plane from Kabul.
