വ്യാജ എഫ്ബി അക്കൗണ്ട് വിഷയത്തിൽ ബിജെപി എംപിയുടെ ‌പേര് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് മുൻ ജീവനക്കാരി

പാർലമെൻ്റിൻ്റെ  ഐടി സ്ഥിരം സമിതി തൻ്റെ മൊഴി സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ തയാറായില്ലെങ്കിൽ വ്യാജ അക്കൗണ്ട് ശൃംഖലയുടെ ഉടമയായ ബിജെപി എംപിയുടെ പേര് പുറത്തുവിടുമെന്ന് ഫെയ്സ്ബുക്കിലെ മുൻ ജീവനക്കാരി സോഫി ഷാങ് പറഞ്ഞു. ബിജെപി എംപിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വ്യാജ അക്കൗണ്ട് ശൃംഖലയെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടും ഫെയ്സ്ബുക് നടപടി എടുത്തില്ലെന്നായിരുന്നു സോഫിയുടെ ആരോപണം. 

രേഖകൾ തെളിവായി നൽകാമെന്ന് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ഓൺലൈനായി നടത്തിയ ചോദ്യോത്തരവേളയിൽ സോഫി പറഞ്ഞു. മൊഴിയെടുക്കുന്നതിന് ലോക്സഭ സ്പീക്കർ ഓം ബിർലയുടെ അനുമതി തേടിയതായി സമിതി അധ്യക്ഷൻ ശശി തരൂർ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. പുതിയ ഐടി സമിതിയുടെ ആദ്യ യോഗം 16,17 തീയതികളിൽ നടക്കും.

Sophie Zhang, a former Facebook employee, said the name of the BJP MP who owns the fake account network would be released if the Parliamentary IT Standing Committee was not prepared to accept her statement. Sophie alleged that Facebook did not take action despite being informed about the fake account network associated with the BJP MP.

Sophie said in an online question and answer session that she was informed that the documents could be provided as evidence. Committee chairman Shashi Tharoor had said that he had sought the permission of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to testify. The first meeting of the new IT committee will be held on the 16th and 17th.
