വാക്സീൻ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് രാജ്യത്ത് നിർബന്ധമാക്കിയിട്ടില്ല - കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ

രാജ്യത്ത് കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധ വാക്സീൻ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് ഒരു ആവശ്യത്തിനും  നിർബന്ധമാക്കിയിട്ടില്ലെന്നു കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ സുപ്രീം കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. പ്രധിരോധ വാക്സീൻ  കുത്തിവയ്പെടുക്കാൻ സർക്കാർ ആരെയും നിർബന്ധിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരായ ആളുകൾക്കു വാക്സീൻ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഹർജിയിലാണ് സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ മറുപടി. അതേസമയം, പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യത്തിനായി എല്ലാവരും  വാക്സീൻ എടുക്കുന്നതാണ് ഏറ്റവും ഉചിതമെന്നാണു സർക്കാർ നിലപാട്. ഇക്കാര്യം പരസ്യങ്ങളിലൂടെയും മറ്റും ജനങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും സർക്കാർ പറഞ്ഞു.

പല ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കും വാക്സീൻ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് ഹാജരാക്കണമെന്ന നിർദ്ദേശത്തിൽ ഇളവു നൽകാൻ ഹർജിക്കാരൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇതിനോടുള്ള പ്രതികരണമായാണ് ഏതെങ്കിലും കാര്യത്തിൽ വാക്സീൻ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് കർശനമാണെന്ന തരത്തിൽ മാർഗരേഖ നൽകിയിട്ടില്ലെന്നു കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രാലയം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.

The plaintiff had sought a waiver on the recommendation that the vaccine certificate be produced for a number of purposes. In response, the Union Ministry of Health said it had not issued any guidelines stating that the vaccine certificate was strict in any case.
