ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വാനമ്പാടി, സംഗീത ഇതിഹാസം ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്‌കര്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു
അനശ്വരമായ സ്വരമാധുര്യം കൊണ്ട് ഒരു ജനതയെ ആനന്ദത്തിൽ ആറാടിച്ച സംഗീത ഇതിഹാസം, ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സ്വന്തം വാനമ്പാടി ഭാരതരത്‌നം ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്‌കര്‍(92) വിടവാങ്ങി. മുംബൈ ബ്രീച്ച് കാന്‍ഡി ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ രാവിലെ 8.12ന് ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് അന്ത്യം സംഭവിച്ചത്‌. കോവിഡ് ബാധിതയായി ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. ആരോഗ്യനില മോശമായതിനാല്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം വീണ്ടും വെന്റിലേറ്ററിലേക്ക് മാറ്റിയിരുന്നു. കോവിഡ് പിടിപെട്ടതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ജനുവരി എട്ടിനാണ് ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്‌കറെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. 79 വർഷത്തെ സംഗീത ജീവിതത്തിൽ മലയാളം അടക്കം വിവിധ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭാഷകളിൽ മുപ്പതിനായിരത്തോളം ഗാനങ്ങൾ ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്‌കര്‍ ലോകത്തിന് പാടി നൽകി. 1929 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 28 നാണ് ലതയുടെ ജനനം. പണ്ഡിറ്റ് ദീനനാഥ് മങ്കേഷ്‌കര്‍, ഷേവന്തി മങ്കേഷ്‌കര്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍.
ലത മങ്കേഷ്കറുടെ നിര്യാണത്തിൽ പ്രധനമന്ത്രിയും രാഷ്ടപതിയും ഉൾപ്പടെ പ്രമുഖ രാഷ്ട്രീയ സാമൂഹിക സിനിമ മേഘാലയിലുള്ളവരും അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.

Lata Mangeshkar (92), India's own nightingale, has passed away. He died at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital at 8.12 am. Covid was treated at the hospital for the injury. He was shifted back to the ventilator the previous day due to poor health. Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital on January 8 following Covid arrest. In her 79 years of music career, Lata Mangeshkar has sung over 30,000 songs in various Indian languages, including Malayalam. Lata was born on September 28, 1929. His parents are Pandit Deenanath Mankeshkar and Shevanthi Mankeshkar.
Lata Mangeshkar's death was mourned by the Prime Minister, the President and other prominent political and social figures in the field.
