ട്വിറ്ററിനെ വിഴുങ്ങാൻ മോഹവിലയിട്ട് ഇലോണ്‍ മസ്‌ക്. ഇടപാട് നടന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ 'പ്ലാന്‍ ബി'

ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശതകോടീശ്വരനായ ഇലോണ്‍ മസ്‌ക് മൈക്രോ ബ്ലോഗിങ് കമ്പനിയായ 'ട്വിറ്ററി'നെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഓഹരിയൊന്നിന് 54.20 ഡോളര്‍(ഏകദേശം 4133 രൂപ)ആണ് മസ്‌ക് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതനുസരിച്ചു കമ്പനിയുടെ മൂല്യം 4,139 കോടി ഡോളര്‍ വരും. നിലവിലെ ഡോളർ നിരക്ക് അനുസരിച്ച് ഏകദേശം 3.10 ലക്ഷം കോടി രൂപ വരും. ഏപ്രില്‍ ഒന്നിലെ ട്വിറ്റർ ഓഹരി വിലയേക്കാള്‍ 38 ശതമാനം ഉയന്ന തുകയാണ് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ട്വിറ്ററിനെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാനുള്ള താത്പര്യം അമേരിക്കന്‍ ഓഹരി വിപണി റെഗുലേറ്ററിനെ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി മസ്‌ക്  അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

നിലവിലെ വാഗ്ദാനം അന്തിമമാണെന്നും വില ഇനി കൂടില്ലെന്നും ഇലോണ്‍ മസ്‌ക് പറഞ്ഞു. ട്വിറ്ററിൻ്റെ ഒന്‍പതു ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ ഓഹരികള്‍ രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുന്‍പ് ഇലോണ്‍ മസ്‌ക് സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഇതോടെ അദ്ദേഹം കമ്പനിയുടെ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ബോര്‍ഡിലേക്ക് എത്തുമെന്ന അറിയിപ്പ് കമ്പനിയുടെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് വന്നിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഡയറക്ടര്‍സ്ഥാനം മസ്‌ക് നിരസിക്കുകയും കമ്പനിയുടെ നയങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരേ പരസ്യമായി രംഗത്തെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് കമ്പനിയെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാനുള്ള താത്പര്യം മസ്‌ക് രറിയിച്ചത്. എന്നാൽ ഇടപാട് നടന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍ ഓഹരിയുടമയായി തുടരണമോ എന്ന് ആലോചിക്കേണ്ടിവരുമെന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പും മസ്‌ക് ട്വിറ്ററിന് നല്‍കി. ഈ ഇടപാട് നടന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ "പ്ലാന്‍ ബി"യുമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുമെന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പും മസ്‌ക് നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഇതിനിടെ മോഹവിലയിട്ട മസ്‌കിന്റെ ഓഫറിന്റെ 'തടവിലല്ല' കമ്പനിയെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കി ട്വിറ്റർ സി ഇ ഒ പരാഗ് അഗ്രവാള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഇലോൺ മസ്കിൻ്റെ നീക്കത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ഇതേക്കുറിച്ച് ജീവനക്കാരില്‍ നിന്നുയര്‍ന്ന ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് മറുപടി നല്‍ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു പരാഗ് അഗ്രവാള്‍. മസ്‌കിൻ്റെ വാഗ്ദാനം സ്വീകരിക്കണോ എന്ന് കമ്പനി ബോര്‍ഡ് വിലയിരുത്തി തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അറിയിച്ചു.

Elon Musk, the world's largest billionaire, has launched an attempt to acquire micro-blogging company Twitter. Musk has offered $ 54.20 (approximately Rs 4,133) per share. The company is valued at $ 4.139 billion. At the current dollar rate, it would be around Rs 3.10 lakh crore. The amount offered is 38 per cent higher than the April 1 Twitter share price. Musk has also officially informed the US stock market regulator of its interest in acquiring Twitter.
