പാക് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി ഷഹബാസ് ഷെരീഫ്. ഇമ്രാന്‍ ഖാന്‍ രാജിവെച്ചു

പാകിസ്താനിലെ പുതിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി ഷഹബാസ് ഷെരീഫിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. അവിശ്വാസ വോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ പരാജയപ്പെട്ട ഇമ്രാന്‍ ഖാന് പകരമായാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവായിരുന്ന ഷഹബാസ് ഷെരീഫ് പാകിസ്താൻ്റെ പുതിയ പ്രധനമന്ത്രിയായി എതിരില്ലാതെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. മുന്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നവാസ് ഷെരീഫിൻ്റെ സഹോദരനാണ് ഷഹബാസ്. പുതിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാനുള്ള പ്രക്രിയ നാഷണല്‍ അസംബ്ലിയില്‍ ഞായറാഴ്ച ആരംഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.

പുതിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഇമ്രാന്‍ ഖാന്‍ പാക് നാഷണല്‍ അസംബ്ലിയില്‍നിന്ന് രാജിവെച്ചു. 'കള്ളന്മാര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം സഭയിലിരിക്കാനാവില്ലെ'ന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയാണ് ഇമ്രാന് രാജിവെച്ചു. പുതിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക്കെതിരെ നിലവിലുള്ള അഴിമതി കേസുകള്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയായിരുന്നു ഇമ്രാൻ ഖാൻ്റെ പരാമര്‍ശം. അഴിമതിക്കാരെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത നടപടി രാജ്യത്തോടുള്ള അവഹേളനമാണെന്നും ഇമ്രാന്‍ ഖാന്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.

അഴിമതി, സാമ്പത്തിക ദുര്‍ഭരണം, വിദേശനയത്തിലെ പിഴവുകൾ എന്നിവ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി മാര്‍ച്ച് എട്ടിനാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷപാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ പാക് ദേശിയ അസംബ്ലിയിൽ ഇമ്രാൻ സർക്കറിനെതിരെ അവിശ്വാസപ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. ഭരണപക്ഷത്തെ പ്രധാന കക്ഷികളും അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയത്തെ പിന്തുണച്ചതോടെ സര്‍ക്കാരിൻ്റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം നഷ്ടമായി. എന്നാൽ  ഏപ്രില്‍ മൂന്നിന് നടത്താനിരുന്ന അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയത്തിന്മേലുള്ള  വോട്ടെടുപ്പ്, രാജ്യത്തെ സുരക്ഷാ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സ്പീക്കര്‍ ഖാസിം സൂരി അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി നിരാകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന്, ഇമ്രാന്റെ ശുപാര്‍ശപ്രകാരം പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആരിഫ് അല്‍വി ദേശീയസഭ പിരിച്ചുവിടുകയുംചെയ്തു.

ഈ രണ്ടുനടപടികളും പ്രതിപക്ഷം സുപ്രിം കോടതിയിൽ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു. സുപ്രീംകോടതി രണ്ടുനടപടികളും റദ്ദ് ചെയ്യുകയും ദേശീയസഭ പുനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും അവിശ്വാസവോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടത്താന്‍ ഉത്തരവിടുകയും ചെയ്തു. 2018-ലാണ് ഇമ്രാന്‍ ഖാന്‍ പാക് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി അധികാരമേറ്റത്.

Shahbaz Sharif has been elected the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif has been elected unopposed as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, replacing Imran Khan, who lost the no-confidence vote. Shahbaz is the brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The process of electing a new Prime Minister began in the National Assembly on Sunday. Following the election of a new Prime Minister, Imran Khan resigned from the Pakistan National Assembly. Imran resigned, saying he could not be in the church with thieves. Imran Khan was referring to the ongoing corruption cases against the new Prime Minister. Imran Khan said the election of the corrupt prime minister was an insult to the country.

Opposition parties have filed a no-confidence motion against Imran Sarkar in the Pakistan National Assembly on March 8, citing corruption, financial mismanagement and foreign policy shortcomings. The majority of the government was lost as the main parties in the ruling party supported the no-confidence motion. However, Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri unexpectedly rejected the no-confidence motion on April 3, citing security concerns in the country. Subsequently, on the recommendation of Imran, President Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly.

Both these actions were questioned by the Opposition in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court quashed both proceedings and reinstated the National Assembly and ordered a no-confidence vote. In 2018, Imran Khan became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
