രാജ്യത്ത് ഇന്ധന വില കുറച്ചു. വിലക്കയറ്റം അതിരൂക്ഷമായി തുടരുന്നതിന് ഇടെയാണ് കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ ഇന്ധനവില കുറച്ചത്. പെട്രോൾ വിലയിൻമ്മേലുള്ള എക്സൈസ് തീരുവയിൽ ലീറ്ററിന് എട്ടു രൂപയുടെയും ഡീസൽ ലീറ്ററിന് ആറു രൂപയുഡി കുറവുമാണ് വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതോടെ പൊതു വിപണിയിൽ പെട്രോളിന് ലീറ്ററിന് ഒൻപത് രൂപ അൻപത് പൈസയും ഡീസലിന്  ഏഴു രൂപയും കുറയും. കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ കുറച്ച നികുതിക്ക് ആനുപാതികമായി പെട്രോൾ നികുതി 2.41 രൂപയും ഡീസൽ നികുതി 1.36 രൂപയും സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ കുറച്ചത്തോടെ കേരളത്തിൽ പെട്രോള്‍ ലീറ്ററിന് 10 രൂപ 40 പൈസയും ഡീസൽ 7 രൂപ 37 പൈസയും കുറയും. ഇന്ധന വില കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള കേന്ദ്രനടപടി സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ധനമന്ത്രി കെ.എൻ.ബാലഗോപാൽ അറിയിച്ചു.

കേന്ദ്ര ധനമന്ത്രി നിർമല സീതാരാമനാണ് ഇന്ധനവിലയിലെ എക്സൈസ് തീരുവ കുറയ്ക്കുന്ന കാര്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. അവശ്യവസ്തുക്കളുടെ വില കുത്തനെ ഉയർന്നതാണ് ഇന്ധനവില കുറയ്ക്കാൻ കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാരിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്. വിലക്കയറ്റം പിടിച്ചുനിർത്തുന്നതിനായി മറ്റു ചില നിർണായക പ്രഖ്യാപനങ്ങളും ധനമന്ത്രി നടത്തി. സിമൻ്റിൻ്റെയും കമ്പിയുടെയും വില കുറയുന്നതോടെ നിർമാണ മേഘലയിൽ ഉണർവ് ഉണ്ടാവും.

7/12 We are reducing the Central excise duty on Petrol by ₹ 8 per litre and on Diesel by ₹ 6 per litre.
This will reduce the price of petrol by ₹ 9.5 per litre and of Diesel by ₹ 7 per litre.

It will have revenue implication of around ₹ 1 lakh crore/year for the government.

• സിമൻ്റിൻ്റെ വില കുറയ്ക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

Fuel prices have come down in the country. The central government has cut fuel prices amid rising inflation. Excise duty on petrol has been reduced by Rs 8 per liter and diesel by Rs 6 per liter. With this, petrol price in the general market will be reduced by Rs 9 per liter and diesel by Rs 7 per liter. Petrol tax in Kerala will be reduced by Rs 2.41 per liter and diesel by Rs 1.36 per liter in line with the central government's reduction. Finance Minister KN Balagopal welcomed the Centre's move to reduce fuel prices.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced a reduction in excise duty on fuel. The sharp rise in prices of essential commodities has prompted the central government to reduce fuel prices. The Finance Minister also made some other crucial announcements to curb inflation. As the prices of cement and wire fall, there will be a revival in the construction sector.

 

Other important announcements

• Rs 200 subsidy for LPG cylinders has been reinstated.
• The beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana are subsidized for 12 cylinders per annum.
• In addition to the Rs 1.05 lakh crore in this year's budget, an additional subsidy of Rs 1.10 crore has been provided for fertilizers.
• Reduction in customs duty on raw materials and intermediaries of plastic products.
• Export duty will be levied on some steel products.
• Import duty on steel raw materials will be reduced.
• It was decided to reduce the price of cement.
