കൂനൂർ ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ അപകടം - സംയുക്ത സൈനീക മേധാവി ജനറൽ ബിപിൻ റാവത്ത് അന്തരിച്ചു

തമിഴ് നാട്ടിലെ നീലഗിരി ജില്ലയിലെ ഊട്ടിയ്ക്കടുത്ത് കൂനൂരിൽ ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12.30നുണ്ടായ ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ അപകടത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആദ്യത്തെ സംയുക്ത സൈനീക മേധാവി ജനറൽ ബിപിൻ റാവത്തും അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ പത്നി മധുലിക റാവത്തും ഉൾപ്പടെ 13 പേർ മരണമടഞ്ഞതായി ഇന്ത്യൻ വ്യോമസേന സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.  

With deep regret, it has now been ascertained that Gen Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat and 11 other persons on board have died in the unfortunate accident.

സംയുക്ത സേനാ മേധാവി ബിപിൻ റാവത്ത് സഞ്ചരിച്ച കോപ്റ്റർ ഊട്ടിയിൽ തകർന്നു. 13 മരണം

The Indian Air Force has confirmed that 13 people, including General Bipin Rawat, India's first Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, and his wife Madhulika Rawat were killed in a helicopter crash at Coonoor near Ooty in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris district at 12.30 pm today.
